Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

I think thats picture quality and age disguising it a little (the aphid). The others, definitely thrips.

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

Pretty sure it's a milkweed aphid. So you can also feel good about helping the milkweed and monarch butterfly populations too.

Broken branch lower arm is this normal in preflower

I would get some trellis netting too. Then find a third person to help wrap the outer edge of the plants branches. Love the pedal car! Good luck friends!

First try for bubble hash with fresh frozen & first question

My understanding with working fresh frozen plant material is that its all about the volume. You can't get it to work right if you overload the work space. Are you working in the bags or are you using a washer? Either way the frozen material will take up more space and needs to have enough room...

Flushing out living soil after over fert

You don't. Just let them ride and adjust to their new home. Trying to flush organic soil is just going to compound things. Post a picture or two.

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

This is what I use in flower and I apply it at least once a week. If I feel the need more. I have used it up to five times in a week. Before flowering and during early flowering I will tank mix spinosad and or BT with it. If you ever end up with spider mites in flower this will help. It gets...

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

No russet mites are not predatory mites. They are very small and suck. They are elongated and are way smaller than spider mites. You need magnification to see the russets. The plant you posted could still have spinosad used on it as it has just started flowering.

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

They say it is but I don't. Some states test for it in commercial pot and if levels are too high their whole crop fails. That's why I use the alcohol mixture, once spinosad shouldn't be used anymore. It kills bugs and helps treat and prevent powdery mildew and bud rot. I am in Illinois too over...

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

I use it all the time and yes it's safe to use throughout flowering . The isopropyl alcohol is adjusted to less than 35% so it won't damage the trichomes. I use a 1/2 gallon of 70%isopropyl alcohol mixed with an equal volume of water mixed with 2-3tsp potassium bicarbonate and 1/4-1/2 tsp...

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

The boring bugs are moth larvae and you will find a hole in the stem with frass (brownish bug poo) coming out of it. Bt will help prevent more of them. So will spinosad. But if you find the hole, you can cut the stem open lengthwise with a razor blade to get the little suckers out and kill them...

Brown stipules, curling calyx, no white hairs ??

You have bug issues and powdery mildew starting. Also this is going to be a rough year for bud rot in the midwest (at least that's the feeling I have). So start spraying and antifungal like potassium bicarbonate and alcohol. It will also kill the bugs. I would also add some spinosad before it...

Bud rot...to panic or not to panic

Also spray with antifungal like potassium bicarbonate. It's a bad year for humidity here in Illinois too. I believe I am upping my game and adding Cease to my regimen. Normally botrytis isn't a problem here until mid to late September or even October. But this year it seems to be getting...

    Mites thrips

Do what myke suggested then spray with this mixture. It wont hurt the buds, just kills the bugs and helps prevent powdery mildew and bud rot. Spray everything every other day for a week, then every third day for another week or until the problem is gone or the plants are harvested. ½gallon...
