Outdoor plants need support, definitely not too windy to grow in the ground. Too hot and humid to grow in a greenhouse in Oklahoma, you might as well be indoors, with the amount of energy it takes to dehum and cool a grow space. Also, we get some big hail once in a while. The market is saturated...
If you end up getting leaf septoria outdoors, give me a shout! I've been growing outdoors in the ground
for the last 5 years in Ok. Lots of strains don't do well here outdoors, even though they can do well in California and Colorado.
Keep an eye on this emerging project! Clones from tissue culture, scrubbed of disease and verifiably sourced from several of the best breeder/growers on the planet! With over 600 varieties in their library, (and more to come), they are slowly rolling out their initial offerings. I would imagine...
Salvisa from Lymerising Farms, which was very septoria resistant last year, shines again! Took it down Oct 5th, sticky, hint of fuel in the aroma, looking forward to taste testing soon. Nice 12 foot plant, will be running again next year.
Glad to hear this! I have a Dubble Limes x Lime Sour and a Red Lebanese/Puck x Lime Sour from CHA, wanting to run this winter! What have you run from them?
I've spent the last 4 years battling septoria, read everything I could find, even talked to Agriculture professors at the University. Stuff that they said would work as a preventative I am not willing to use due to toxicity concerns. Eventually, I noticed a plant here and there only suffering...
Don't exceed the recommended mixing ratios and you won't burn your plants! I can tell you from experience that while Zerotol is great at PM control and helpful for other molds, it WON'T do a thing to leaf septoria! That was a tough summer's lesson. Also, just because your plant has septoria...
