I ran my SF 4000's at 50% power and about 56" above the seedlings. Definitely not the right light for the job but I just ran with what I had. I don't think it was bad for them just be careful running big lights over small plants.

I pay about $10-$12/seed buying directly from most breeders. Don't mind though, I think it's reasonable. Runs me about $300/year and I get to run different strains all the time. Where I tend to see the crazy prices are with seed banks that resell seeds.

I'm alive. Surgery went good today. Should be crawling around under my plants in 4 to 6 weeks. :D Just incase anyone is curious I had double hernia surgery but they weren't able to do laparoscopic because of a blood clotting condition I have. They had to open me right up.
