    Insect experience

I would disagree with @Herb & Suds and @WintersBones on the visibility aspect. I have observed primarily two-spotted spider mites. A single nymph or adult on the underside of a leaf is easy to miss, but can be seen without magnification. I can't make out many body features, just the general...

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

Damn autocorrect, huh? Lol. I guess you meant to write efficiency?

    Recommend a budget Led

Hey @KK26 , these are the very same strips that Arrow Electronics was selling at a heavy discount within the last couple of months. https://www.arrow.com/en/products/si-b8t521560ww/samsung-electronics As you can see, the price at Arrow has shot back up. @diyled is including some solid core...

    Egg or trichome?? Please help

I hope you get an answer from the original poster, considering the age of this thread. Fortunately it looks like they're still active on this forum. Those look like spider mite eggs in the first posts photographs. It seems the OP was given conflicting advice, and was having a hard time...

Lighting options for a new grower

IMO there are far better things to watch during the winter months than CNBC. Lol

Lighting options for a new grower

FYI COB stands for chip on board, not circuit on board.

Got to get this set up as right as possible !

Hey @Nizza , the HLG drivers can be used with either AC power source. The OP would just need to use a different plug on the input side of the driver.

need to know which led is better

There's no mention of far red diodes on Gavita's webpage, just deep red (660nm). Also the spectrum should show a smaller peak in the 700nm + region if far red monos were included with the Pro 1700e. I'm not saying it's not important, but high efficacy white and deep red diodes are a common...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Lumileds Luxeon 5050 are used for the white diodes. Luminus 3535 are used for the red and deep red diodes. I believe the specific chips used are SST-10-R and SST-10-DR.

Samsung 2ft F Strip for side lighting build.

I believe the diode configuration for the 560mm BXEB Gen. 2 strips is 7s16p.

Samsung H series strips, Arrow seems to be blowing them out! what a deal!

Are you thinking you might get the used SP-750-24 from eBay that you posted in the other thread? Unused models look to be selling for $190 or more, and they have a three year warranty. Does that used power supply have any kind of warranty? Unlike HLG Series drivers, you cannot adjust the...

Supplemental LED Lights (660nm, 730nm etc) for old QB288 v1

The QB 288 V2 (LM301B) run at a lower voltage than the other QB 288 versions. The voltage on the HLG-240H-48A can be adjusted up to 52.69 volts, so @plebschmo could feasibly be using other version HLG boards than the V2.

    Replacement cobs for CXB3590

With regards to cleaning COBs, Timber Grow Lights posted some tips on IG a couple weeks ago. Thank you to @RainDan for the info.

    Anyone use these???

@BostonBuds just bought an XS2000 a couple weeks ago. He has a P2000 also I think. Obviously the XS Series look like superior lights compared to the Pro Series, but maybe he can give you some additional info. http://www.rollitup.org/t/viparspectra-with-samsung-and-meanwell.1028281/post-15765687

Does Meanwell XLG come with externall dimming?

Are the XLG drivers on the SF4000 "A" or "AB" models? If they're "AB" models, they will have Dim+ and Dim- wires to add a potentiometer.

    Build/design assistance

Yes. With these drivers and the 2ft. F-Series double-row strips, you would wire them in parallel.

    Build/design assistance

The HLG-320H-48A has built-in potentiometers for current and voltage adjustment. The HLG-320H-48AB has built-in current adjustment and also Dim+ and Dim- wires that you can attach a dimmer to for current adjustment.

    Build/design assistance

The HLG-320H-48 (no A,B, or AB at the end) is also referred to as a blank driver. The voltage and current output cannot be adjusted. The HLG-320H-48B has Dim+ and Dim- wires that you can attach a dimmer to, and that will allow you to adjust the current output of the driver.

    Migro 240 Aray unboxing

I'm going off the picture that @OVH provided in the first post. Why don't you give the diodes a quick count?
