Yeah everytime my water comes out the tap it's always around 7.0, I always use the liquid ph up & ph down to get it to 6.0 to 6.2. ... so your saying i should stop using the liquid ph up and down and let it dry out completely?

I just took random water out of the tap both times I didnt get the exact temp I just poured water into the cup for a run off..

Heres my ph straight of the tap , and heres the ph of the runoff.... also when I first watered the plants the ph was 6.0 5.8 but now it reads 6.5 to 6.8 when I first checked the runoff it was 6.5 - 6.4

Just calibrated it again to make sure and the ppm has lowered to 790

It was maxing out at 4000 when I first checked the runoff tho

Yes it is new pen that ive already calibrated hanna gro line tds/ec/ppm pen. And ok I just scooped up some of the soil and put it in a small solo cup I'm about to check the runoff and I'll send you a picture of what it shows ...

Yes I use filtered tap water and my ppms right out of the tap just clean water is 170 ppm but when I checked the run off for my seedlings it was 4000

Hi just wanted to give a little update on the purple growth/burnt tips... I've been watering my ladies at a ph of 5.8 to 6.0 the purple growth is slowly starting to fade but haven't seen explosive growth yet ... anything else important I should know about keeping my seedlings healthy advice is...

Ok yeah I didnt amend the soil at all off the bat so i know that cant be the problem. The highest the ph has gotten has been 6.8, so your saying to use a ph of 5.8 - 6.2 in the first week , and as the plants get alittle older start using a ph of 6.5 to 6.8?
