Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

Thank you for taking the time to break that down for me. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Looking back, I realize it was pretty lazy of me not to do my due diligence and Google the thing. So, I apologize. Then again, I never would have gotten that level of information.

    Seed Storage System Question

I appreciate the recommendations of others to refrigerate the seeds. But, like I mentioned in my original post, I already do that.

    Seed Storage System Question

I didn't think to simply put the existing little plastic bags in the capsules. I think that's a good idea you have. The dessicant should fit in the capsle also if I do that. So, I think you solved my problem.

    Seed Storage System Question

Fellow Growers, I am currently trying to improve my seed storage system. My old system involves a Pelican case, some desiccants, and seeds stashed in tiny baggies. I store it in my refrigerator. I was not satisfied with it's capacity, the "Ragdoll Effect" the seeds were suffering, and the...

I'm using the Mars Hydro TSW 2000. I'll get into the regimen in a bit. I always check my pH when I feed. And yeah, there is DEFINITELY some time left I think. Not to "Mom and Pop" you as they say. But, I actually created a Thread about this shortly after asking you about it. In my defense, I...

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

I got 'em on clay pots man. Jerry-rigged it real horror-show.

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

See, now this makes more sense to me. I don't know much about plywood. But, I can't help but think it would be pretty combustible. Why would I want to put something hot on wood? That metal rack is killer though and I am seriously considering it. Space might be an issue though, unless I mount it...

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

I came up with a temporary solution of terracotta pots (see photo). My thinking is they will not conduct electricity. I don't know what science has to say about heat though. I am currently sharing my house with an uninvited guest (a mouse). I fear the rodent could get a bit overzealous and...

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

I think I'll play ukulele for a while. Thanks so much for all of the advice so far guys. I have some things to think about, and am glad I made this thread.

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

I don't think something like that would be any issue with my living arrangement. That's another thing I might consider, providing the materials would not be flammable themselves.

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

I never thought of that, but it seems like a great idea.

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

Honestly, I have no clue about amps or anything of that nature (I wish I did). I definitely think I could do some cable management on the cords (like you would a PC). I am renting here, so I can't really screw things into the wall. I was wondering if there might be something safe I could set the...

Question About LED Drivers and Fire Safety

Hey guys, I wanted to get the LED drivers for my Mars Hydro TSW 2000 light outside of my grow tent. I thought it might help reduce interior temperatures. I know some people hang drivers by the cords. I wasn't to crazy about that idea. But, I got to thinking having them on the carpeted floor...

Week 6 of Flower - Leaves Yellowing / Spotting / Browning

Thank you so much for the kind words! I wasn't expecting to find encouragement with this Thread. I definitely have a lot of headroom on the intensity dial. If you think it's safe, I'll start gradually upping the juice.

Week 6 of Flower - Leaves Yellowing / Spotting / Browning

Ah, okay. I guess it seems so counter-intuitive to me. I think, "Green leaves = healthy plant. Yellow leaves = sick plant."

Week 6 of Flower - Leaves Yellowing / Spotting / Browning

If that's all it was, I'd be very relieved. I grew Auto-flowering plants prior to this. I think I might have been harvesting the Autos too early. The reason I say that, is because I have never had a plant really "yellow out" like this. But, at this stage in Flower, it might be normal. Thanks for...

Week 6 of Flower - Leaves Yellowing / Spotting / Browning

Greetings, Everything seemed to be going alright with my Wonka Bars bagseed grow. That is, until I upgraded from a blurple light to a Mars Hydro TSW 2000 last Thursday (12-3-2020). At first, I thought the brighter light was simply showing me preexisting leaf problems I wasn't aware of. Then, I...

    Grow Light Upgrade Assistance Request

In truth, shortly after I made my previous post, I decided to cancel the order on that tent. I was actually very sketched out by the zippers. I didn't want to roll the die on it. That didn't occur to me, but now you have me concerned! It seems like it's only a matter of time now, right? You...

There is something immensely satisfying about producing your own food. I also have found grocery store produce to be lackluster. With the Rutgers, my favorite way to have them as a kid was to slice them about 0.5 in / 1.27 cm thick, slather them in mayonnaise, then dust them with black pepper...
