I have 10 of those sitting in a box. Still trying to match up strips to them. Wanted to use them for the L09 strips I got and make some shop light style bar fixtures but they pull too much current at 48V. might run 2 V strips in series or something.

Definitely interesting lights, I like the simplicity of this design and the fact that you don't need additional heatsinks. How many diodes are on each Q7 board? Also do you have single boards with say a 150W driver available? Can we buy your boards without drivers or as DIY kits?

cobs and boards sound right. but with strips the benefits come when u run them soft. 40-50W per 4 ft strip (depends on model/brand used) is ideal. I would plan for 24-30 strips if you go this route. If you run them soft enough you may not even need heatsinks.
