    Vero 29 B or C?

He hs helped me out a ton, with my previous build as well. His site was one of the first I checked out but he doesn't carry bridgelux at all that I could find. I found them at cutter, but idk how much shipping from au would be. @CobKits would you happen to have any hidden away that aren't on...

    Vero 29 B or C?

Shit when dod this turn into 3 pages lol. I appreciate the advice, but Im not trying to buy 20 chips and sinks. In the original post I said "cheap." Im just looking to pump out a lot of light with as few chips/sinks as possible. Dont care about efficiency much, and not trying to spend $700. Just...

    Vero 29 B or C?

Ive never really looked into luminous, Ill check them out. I was kind of leaning towards the B's. Would be less $$ in sinks. Do you carry vero? I didnt see them on your site. Another question, is 1400ma going to be a good intensity? Thats going to be pretty intense on a 50v chip right?

    Vero 29 B or C?

Hey, Im looking to do a cheap build to add to my other led bars. I have an extra hlg-320-1400 and was thinking of runnimg either 3 of the vero 29 C (69v) or 4 of the B's (52v). The room is only 53" wide and I have bars of 4 cobs each on either side, so spread is not a major concern. Mainly just...

Hey man looks good though! Ive always preffered the look of the extruded sinks, but the pins were super easy. The second one took my about 2 hours to build... to cut the frame and all. Definitely learned a lot and had fun doing it. Time for the next one!

I did it for the same reason. I was using a 315w cmh and just got really shitty penetration even at 18" from the canopy. Because it was a single source of light, its difficult to get a good spread. Quality was on point, but anything lower than about 12" was pretty larfy. if it had an external...

The nodes are super close together, I feel like it will be one massive cola on each branch. The bloom kaos in the nectar for the gods line is what caused that. Once i started using it, I started seeing insane node growth and stacking. Ill snap a pic tonight for ya when lights are on :)

Ive actually heard from a few people who said they like to run higher temps with cobs. Im not worried about it, its still cold outside here and my room is staying between 73-75. Im in the desert so once it heats up I should be right where I should be. Its ready starting to get warmer out so ill...

Ok cool, thats what Ive been reading. Right now Im only using about 2 gallons per day, but that will change as flower progresses. A friend of mine actually recommended 70 pint, but that sounds like way more than I need. Maybe it will be a good idea to jist go bigger than I need to be safe. $150...

Thats an ogkb pheno thats been like that its whole life. The cut is growing normally under t5's so Im guessing it doesn't like intense light which is common for ogkb. Thats why i have it back in the corner... trying lower light for her :) Thought about this but Im trying to keep the room...

Had to move the drivers to the outside of the room. It was topping 88F. Now its only gotten up to 74 after letting it sit for 5 hours. We will see how temps hold for a 24hr cycle, but it looks promising. Are you asking where I got that? Its just the hangers off my old hps hood. You can buy...

hello all, just wanted to post my finished vero build. Vero 29 SE on 2 hlg-240-1750. Each bar is 44" long with 140mm sinks. Frame is rivited together. Not dimmed. I plan on mounting kilowatt displays eventually, I just needed to get them hung so I could flip.

    Vero29 build. First build ever.

Looks good from the ac side. Im losing a lot through the driver. Still only getting 1380ma from the actual cobs. Edit: after warming up for about 30 min. 1545ma not bad.

    Vero29 build. First build ever.

I actually ordered a 320-1400b a bit ago. Gonna run 5 on that, and 3 on a 240-1750. That will work for now until I can figure out something more efficient. Ill have some voltage left over, but I just need to get this done so i can flip to flower. Shits getting to be a jungle. With mine fully...

    Vero29 build. First build ever.

They did not recommend this cob/driver set up. That was all me. I talked to 4-5 people about it amd all said that I would experience some voltage drop given that the vero 29 pull 37.5v at 1.7a... but that it would be minimal. Inwas not expecting a loss of 400ma. I think what ill have to do is...

    Vero29 build. First build ever.

Well, im only getting 1190ma with this set up... without the dimmer wired up. Getting 143.7v... which is 187w on my 240w driver. Well fuck. Everyone I talked to told me the voltage drop would be minimal... that Id maybe be pitting out about 1600ma minimum. Looks like Ill have to get the...
