    Today finished building the moonshine still, prepared the first batch of 50L mash. It consists of flaked corn, barley, sugar, water and yeast. From the barrel, through the waterlock, hopefully lots of Co2 will enter the tent the coming 3 weeks :bigjoint:

    IMHO it's very simple, you wanna run passive? Then invest more. More COB's running at a lower amperage will give you the efficiency needed to run passive.

    I use 2 clipon fans to move the warm air off the heatsinks to create some airflow in the tent. Must say this works pretty good, temperatures in the tent are mostly perfect.

    I got myself a power consumption meter, but it's a weird thing... It measures around the 500 watt. But it's reacting very strange in the menu's, so i don't quite trust it. Asking around to find another one to borrow and compare.

    @Freerojo Yes i drilled 2 holes on both sides of the COB for the +/- wires I drilled and tapped M5 holes (20mm deep) on both sides of the HS base The aluminium frame tubing is 20x20mm so i use a 60mm bolt + a wingnut on both sides to secure it And as for the wiring, i'll tell you exactly what...
