Good point. I dont see the plants getting the light it needs if the light is too close. I try backing off a little bit to get the light to cover more ground.

Yeah, im not worried about how far away my lights re. I just wanted to basically know how to position the lights I have but yeah, thats basically what I do myself. lol.

hps would be great too. Im actually about two weeks into the flowering stage but im limmited in light so I have to do with the light I have but I guess I need to get hps for the flowering stage?

So basically, if I put the mh 3in from the plant, I will get 28000 lumens out of it? I have it about 5-6in away at the moment so I will try setting it closer.

I am currently using 2 4ft fluorescents @ 3600 lumens each. 70w metal halide floodlight @ 6000 lumens and 2 23w cfl. I have the cfls to one side, the fluorescents directly over the top and the metal halide to the other side at an angle. Should I relocate my lights or are they in a good position...

If I were you, I would try something other than cfl because with my experience with them, they just dont do the job. Dont get me wrong, I use a couple cfls myself but I also go with metal halide and tubes. My plants started growing very fast when I added the metal halide. You dont need to use...

Do you get them sent straight to your house or do you get them sent somewhere else? Reason I ask is because im ordering for the first time and just want to make sure I do it right.

What kinda question is that? It all depends on how much you can yield out of the plants. Which strain? What method? etc.
