sorry bro, wasn't really a joke. Those cheaper cobs aren't very efficient and produce loads of heat. Lifespan, output, reliability, everything is below acceptable that I've seen. Looking at the big picture, building them, places to mount things, fans, etc. It's a lot easier to build a light...
