    Help with my setup PLEASE!

Better read up more... Max power is led 101.... Not good. 600w is way too much for that size space. Regardless of lighting type. Cheers

6th Official Party Cup Grow Competition!!!!!!

Nice...I think that's the first time I've seen miracle grow on a drip I wasn't too impressed with my somewhat low bin 2700k 3590. Still good stuff, but not my favorite spectrum. Like you said.. good finisher..

Building COB satellites to supplement 400W HPS

True..but nothing a few wagos can't handle, with the benefit of low voltage piece of mind. Since its a add on to a reflector one driver would probably be easier to deal with. Either way is really good, and has its benefits and shortcomings 1 driver would be a lot cheaper. Between that and...

Building COB satellites to supplement 400W HPS

May as well try and get the newer cxb 3070. I just got a few through kingbrite in 4000k bb bin.... Quite a bit more efficient. First order through them but it seems legit 4000k would probably complement the hps better imo

    Are LED's practical for a grow room? (24 ft x 12 ft)

Big boys or big heads I figured a big boy light could grow a bigger top than the last pic Yawn... Commercial growers. And the leaves look like you sprayed acid on them, may want to rethink the nute regime

"Area 51 LED" Information and discussion

Their kind of ugly for the price though... No led disclosure either, guess we just take their word on it and pay 4 to 5 bucks a watt? The next is a bit less..

    Led build~ 2' heatsink 200w

Alright.. Time to get this build back on track. Computers coming out, it works best with drivers that dim to zero like the ldd. Found a bunch of band aid fixes and they started piling up one circuit after another... I'll use it in another build, there's lots of good ways to use a typhon but...

I heard the Cree cx from eco sunlight has a bad warranty If it breaks you are stuck with a broken light. They make you fix it yourself. You lose all your money and have a broken light

    Led build~ 2' heatsink 200w

Jack away...my brain is melted from reading about unintuitive arduino. So a LDD working off a constant current driver? Never thought of using it like that. I do remember someone posting in my thread once about using step downs or something to run a fan off the driver..leds too I guess So I...

The helvar looks a lot like the meanwell lcm.....lots of crossover parts it seems. Meanwell a reseller? I thought they were designing these drivers themselves until I saw the lsdpower resemblance. Oh well, whoever has the best price I guess..

    Led build~ 2' heatsink 200w

Posi, How do those LDD 1000's get power - are they wired in series with the COBs on the DC side of your COB driver? I have a 12v 2.1a dc power supply for my fans. It was only using about 5w so I just wired the LDDs into that supply. The uva consumes about 9w, the far red about 5w. Worked out...

    Are LED's practical for a grow room? (24 ft x 12 ft)

Hows about upside down? About a pound from 3 plants...plant on left is split into two for drying grown in a 2 x 4 using 400w. I was pretty happy with the harvest, more so than with hps. Light cost about $850 to build and has quite a few grows under her belt with no end in sight.. actually...
