Oslon far red ready to be put to the test. Should i really be expecting any different than the ledengin 730nm? We'll see i guess Forgot how tiny these bastards are..

I'd think as long as you have a few extra volts on the driver it should be alright. Theres a formula somewhere for that..

Not sure how much exactly, I'd just try to spread it for even exposure, your guess sounds about right. Big area could probably use a flood light style with more power and hit a larger area

But, what if running a better far red ratio in the first Thats good to know, maybe I'll try that out. I actually ran 13/11 all the way, seemed to flower quick enough, just a few days slower than when i was going 12/12 the whole way. I'm thinking of putting a reef typhon arduino in the next...

    Led build~ 2' heatsink 200w

[email protected]. Lucky you said something, I went and hooked things up to check Thats what happens when I don't read the specs thoroughly. Doesn't run on 120v...200-240vac. I wasn't too worried about the fans not running but this is a buzzkill. Such a nice driver otherwise. Thats the biggest...

And the interior layout..roughly. Things always change as i go Low voltage actually kinda sounds nice. I'll save high voltage for cased stuff in the future. So down to 3 cobs at 1.4a and about 25w of 660nm...dash of 730nm These drivers were originally gonna go in a case but they fit perfectly...

But if the lights always running and your not neccessarily concerned about max yield. Thats my predicament, end of the year it'll cost more for electricity.

I don't know and I don't care in this case of heatsink indulgence. 200w will be a light load for her...:p I'll have a nice fan slowly spinning in there. Probably a shroud on the bottom, mostly for being able to attach components. May switch this to a low voltage design..

Just floating a few ideas around.. Kinda like this one..bend a top cover. Had a 12" x 24" sheet aluminum laying around. Was going to cut out reflectors but changed my mind and never used it. How easy is that...stick a sheet in one end bend it into the other end and press down....lol The sheet...

It was quick, only a few days longer than 12/12. Just didn't see the yield increase i was expecting. Plant health wasn't great so results were a little skewed. Still, no extra large nugs i was thinking the extra light might give. The extra electric was kind of a deal killer for me...

Far red has been a thorn in my side. With some extended time using it i am back at square one myself. A lot of what sds brings up holds true for me end of cycle exposure can really shorten flower, but the impact on morphology of the plant leaves something to be desired. 13/11 can counter a lot...

    LED Companies w/ LINKS

Aren't you supposed to test them BEFORE you sell them...lol Or..if he tested them already to find a 20% flower reduction...then...why sell them!? And i guess a valid question would be...if cree xpls were used instead of xbds would there still be a 20% difference?

That timer looks good, might have to try it, been having issues with a few digital hydrofarms now. If someone offered something for a good price like that, i'd probably try it church. Maybe i'll try putting my typhon reef arduino in my next light, $50 part but it does have a lot of nice...

Should start thinking about it more. I don't really need one though, a seperate timer is a easy way to do it for a small area. I can see where in big areas it would be perfect integrated Aren't there solar landscape lights that come on at dark? Use a led/s that will burn through the power...
