the fine roots are what take the majority of nutrients ... as long as its fairly stress free they dont have any problems with transplanting .... people just say not to do it so the newbie's dont wreck their first grows :D

just noticed the LED part >.< i would just use some regular t5 flouro's in the 2000-2500k range and some 3000k + at the same time and lst to a flat canopy ....... look into the T5 HO ballast and bulbs thats the newer flouro tech youll get like 4 times or more lumens then the led's...

they like a mixed spectrum start to finish ....... but will be dense and frosty under a blue spectrum start to finish yield may be less but shouldnt be too drastic of a difference as long as its getting enough light ...... IMO its the amount of light it gets makes more of a difference then what...

ya but it grows to fit the container so all the soil it touches is depleted .... the roots keep growing until mid flower from what ive noticed .... so a preflower transplant would give new roots some new soil to chew on at the point youre starting to have issues
