normally spinosad is what i use but these arent the ones im used too ...... tiny like pin head size

i just sprinkle it on top and water it in havent noticed any dust ..... but my grow space has negative pressure so the carbon scrubber would take care of what does get kicked up....... dont think it would make it out of the grow area

the stuff for pools wont work and it is alot nastier then food grade ..... any dust is hazardous in excess

DE is approximately 3% magnesium, 86% silicon, 5% sodium, 2% iron and many other trace minerals such as titanium, boron, manganese, copper and zirconium. thats copy and paste from that link ....... sounds like DE will not only kill gnats but also is a shot of trace minerals

its made from a type of basement liner ..... just saying :D dont remember the exact name but they have rolls of the stuff you would just have to get baked and punch some holes in the points ....... my plan was to just use a grinder with a tiger disk and just grind off the points ...... i get...

It works as a desiccant drying out the larva ..... its not a chemical thing just has microscopic cutting edges and it cuts the larva and they dry out and die :D i hope this helps ...... DE is sold at most feed stores and is around 8 bucks for a dry gallon

I brought a bag of soil in to my room that infested my grow ....... it was bad enough i chopped most my plants and took it as a loss ..... but i left the root balls that were still infested in my room i tried all sorts of shit sprayed spin , triazicide , and then i had a brain fart I use...

they smell stronger with a dark period than they do on 24/0 ....... and we all know happy plants dont stink ...... so i stick to 24/0

i run 20/4 to 24/0 normally ...... i mean for the one room grower its great to be able to just pop a seed or 5 :D every couple of weeks to keep a steady chop every couple of weeks

the term " dry cycle " fixes most of the size issues ..... they really like dry fluffy soil and bland feedings ;) good luck on your next round brother ... they really are the home growers best choice for medical IMO ..... they have enough CBD to work magic with daily pains .... and more then...
