    Reverse Engineering everyone's nutrients

I've been aware of this thread since you started it but never had a proper read. I have to say the info here is outstanding! I have enough Canna Vega + Flores to last me about 4 months. After that I'm definitely going to be trying your recipe. Only concern I have is that I'll have stockpiles of...

    Wankers

Also how old is the plant? Still in veg? Leaf pic looks like calcium deficiency from my limited knowledge... but!!! if your roots are fucked then that can look like you have any deficiency going. You're in DWC and you say you have brown roots. My money is on root rot. What made you choose...

HELP NEED ADVICE LED COB LIGHTS ?? and diy led

Before you buy anything (or do anything else at all) plan it all out. Get a piece of paper and a pen. Sketch out your design. Where your LEDs are going, how many you're having, how many watts you'd like each one to be. How they're mounted onto a frame. How you're cooling them. Have it all...

New Loft Grow Room - Input Appreciated

Yeah, the idea was to have a mega low maintenance setup. Fill the res once a week and forget about them. From that perspective it's working well as the first full res is down to 1/3 after around 2 weeks. The issue is that they're growing faster than I expected under 110w of T5! I removed all...

Passive PC Heat Sinks, will these work for CREE COBS???

The bottom of the heatsink is not flat. It has a raised stripe down the middle which is 30mm across (I used photoshop to work out it's size based on the heatsink being 77mm wide which I got off the manufacturer's website). If you have a COB larger than 30mm then you'll have 2 sections down each...

Resi tank stinks and ph levels fluctuations... Help pls

This is quite confusing tbh. You said you're doing drain to waste. How does a res fit in? Have you made it into a recirculating system now? Or by "res" do you mean you have a batch of nutes you make up once a week and then use it to feed through the week? You said canna coco but you have...

PH changing in hydro to rapidly.

This is not true. Bubbling vs waterfall will make no difference when it comes to pH. pH is a reflection of free hydrogen ions in your solution. If you bubble CO2 through the water (eg CO2 supplemented air) then you get: CO2 + H2O <-> H2CO3 So you make carbonic acid. The carbonic acid then...

Noisy Air Pump - HELP PLEASE!

If people downstairs are complaining then vibrations are going through the building and you need to decouple the pump from the floor to fix the issue. There are several ways of doing this including: 1. Neoprene foam sheet under the pump. 2. Suspend the pump in the air. You can use bungees but...

    cloning issues...should i be concerned!

Looks like rot from too much water in your soil. Your soil looks really wet in the clone that is still struggling too. Rooting is stimulated when the clone is searching for water... so let the medium dry out a little more before you water.

They are roughly the same. Just slightly different nutrient ratios and GH MicroFlora has extra stuff. BC Boost has 3% N, 2% K2O, 3.2% Ca, 0.05% Fe GH FloraMicro has 5% N, 1% K2O, 5% Ca, 0.1% Fe (plus it also has traces of B, Co, Cu, Mn, Mo, Zn)

Need advice from the perpetual guys

Don't quite agree with that. I have a day job and am running a split flower room; it just takes a little planning. I'm usually home by 7pm and have the lighting change over at 9pm. That gives me 2 hours before the flip and then another 2 hours before I'm in bed. The alternative would be a 5am...

New Loft Grow Room - Input Appreciated

Yeah, seems pretty common sadly. I imagine it's great when it works properly but if you get the lergie it's a complete nightmare. I took some pics of the other tent. 4x Viper Cookies at the back and 4x Purple Afghan Kush at the front with the Auto Dark Purple finishing off in the middle...

New Loft Grow Room - Input Appreciated

It's been 6 days since I flipped to 12/12. I'm going to have to flower under 1.2kW per tent (2.4kW total) over the summer. When the temp outside goes over 25C and I have lights at full blast (4.2kW total) the room temps slowly climb to around 30C despite staggering the tents. The 12000 BTU air...

Old nurients how old is old?

That's basically a sugary syrup plus magnesium and potassium. If the smell has changed then it's likely bacteria has grown in the bottle, eating up the syrup and depositing waste. If you were talking about human food this would be considered spoilt and unsafe to eat. Chuck it in the bin IMO.

How many watts can be safely pulled from this breaker

You can run 200A at 240V = 48,000W max for upto 2 hours. You can run 0.8 x 48,000 = 38,400W continuous load. If you stagger some of the (16,000W + 24,000W) loads so they don't come on at the same time you'll be fine but that breaker is not rated to run at 40,000W continuously.
