I grow perpetual with same size tent (3x600s though) and same veg tent too. Personally I would go with what I find good. Mother plant in your veg and clone, clones are mature that way and I think they grow quicker that way too.I am looking for input from people that have my similar setup. I have a 4' x 8'with 2 x 1k hoods and a 4 x 4 veg area with a 400w going. I want to pop a pack of beans in rotation to crop every 5-6 weeks utilizing 1 side of the flower tent at a time and staggering harvests. how often should I be poppin beans?
You don't have to keep a mother like that though, lately I have just taken x amount of seeds, vegged for as long as needed, cloned from those and then flowered the mothers, vegging the clones as soon as they root. Personally I think it saves time. Rinse and repeat the process, taking clones from each before going into flower. Just be sure to take plenty of clones to avoid the problem of having nothing to veg if your clones go wrong. Genrally I take treble what I need, root them, veg the ones I want and leave the others to sit under little light and they usually sit there kind of in stasis until I need them. I do give a lot away and kill a few from time to time.
I veg for 3-4 weeks, put 4-6 in to flower, add same 3 weeks later and the same again which uses most of my space. I have to say I don't use all my space because I use cool tubes and find the footprint crap so i probably use 7foot X 3.5foot at best. I'm not to fussy about massive yield and i like to remain in lowish numbers been I'm not legal. With 2 X 1000w you can fill that place to the corners and produce a massive amount of nice herb every 3-4 weeks. I also have to admit my timing is not always perfect. They are harvested when they tell me they are ready.
Sorry i know your question was about seeds but personally i hate all that waiting with seeds, nothing to stop you doing 12/12 from seed i suppose but for me those numbers would be out of the question.
