Update: Seems my old hygrometers are failing. I tested them just for fun in pure water and got a reading of 3 which is a major false positive so i will need to acquire new hygrometer for sure to get the most accurate reading as possible. I usually go by look and/or weight when working with hps...

Hey stuckonsticky. :) Nice to see you join me bros. :) I have vented hps's (1000w's) and we take em pretty close to, ten inchs though is pushing it but doable if the strain is from a desert environment. Something like afghani (kush for instance). Closer is definitely better. With LED's though...

I forgot to mention also that the led fixture is exactly 12 inches away from the canopy, I will check the height and re adjust if needed daily.
