thanks man great info. And theres me adding the price of a water heater to my list... the first thing that springs to mind is how beneficial a seperate tank/res would be as a cooling period for the water before its recirculated but that would involve another pump... or 2? but this is more...

after practical research i can come back and answer my own question... how gay i ran 2 600w hps bulbs in cooltubes one had a multispectrum the other a red/orange bulb the side with the red/orange bulb produced far better results id say a 400w red/orange bulb will give you about the same results...

I think this is a quest for perfection rather then practicality c4rb0n, and i like it, is the aim of high pressure aero to deliver water to the root at the exact size the root absorbs it ? so theres less time spent breaking down the water particles and faster uptake??

building a dwc setup in a couple of weeks, i kno res temps should be from 65 to 75 [65 being best] but how much will the heat in the grow room affect my res temps, im hoping you guys are gunna say "expect a 10 degree differance" as my rooms are always 75 or there abouts wich would leave me bang...

you can tell by the title im new to hydroponics, from wot im reading more air is better so im buying a more then capable air compresser but should i be dedicating an air out let for each plant or would one airstone between 2 plants surfice? [ i want to put 4 for 6 plants spread equaly]

i find they usualy go limp and wilt for a few days anyway you need a propergater rly to hold in the moisture in or any clear plastic or glass lid to light thru and keep damp in

cant u find something clear plastic or glass to put over the top of it to incubate it and keep the moisture in, wheres the top of that tub that uv cut off would enough light get thru that? spray it then put the lid and move the lights closer, i think it will survive with out the incubation at...
