I ended up going with a 30 gal, holds 2 cuft with enough room for me to mix and not get it everywhere. That's my plan, to recycle root balls and reamend as needed. I only have the one bin right now, but I'll eventually get that second one. I have some happy frog I'm gonna use for clones/seeds atm.

Right now my mix is gonna be equal parts peat moss, perlite, and half ewc half compost. Amendment wise i have kelp meal, alfalfa meal, tomato tone, and bat guano. Also have some dolomite lime, and azomite rock dust. Gonna make a green mulch to go in as well.

What should I be using to cook my soil? I can make it in s.aller parts and let it cook in 5 gallon smart pots, or get a storage tote and cook it all together. I'm mea ing towards the tote, that'll be ok or it'll harm microbes?

I can see that for sure. Good info, i was gonna add mg but it shouldnt be necessary correct? as its there just not being used. After turning the light down they are really turning around. I'll get a new pic after work.

That was my thought too especially with the new growth being curled up. But my thermostats are attached to my hood like 2-3" from the bulb, that's where that 80 degree reading was comig from. I think it was to intense lighting to early. Shoulda left it on 300 watts a bit longer.

Was every day before I transplanted now every other day as after 1 it's still pretty damp. 2 it's slightly damp but not dry. Light is 10" now that it's down to 300 watts. Was 12" at 450 watts. The cfl is just there from the last run. I had 4 under my scrog.

The one on the right seems to be back on track minus the mg def. Hopefully the other will come around soon, maybe take it out and clear the coco from around roots a bit better?

Yeah the mg def is showing. Thinking it was due to slightly low ph there. As for roornound I suppose it possible. Went from the solo cup to 1 gal on 3/11 and then to the 3 gal on 3/31. On the droopy one the coco would hardly break up around the roots. Maybe that is indeed the problem with it?

The less droopy plant in the pics is doing much better right now. I turned my light down to 50% wondering if that was the cause. The other is still drooped pretty bad, and had reallllly slowed down on growth.

I'm running a 6" fan on a can lite filter and I have 0 smell inside, could smell it outside the house prior to the filter. What kinda filter did you get? The cheaper ones are notorious for not working properly. It's also better to get a slightly bigger sized filter than you need imo. Also...

Don't go by the equivalent wattage. A 200 watt cfl is 200 watts. You're looking at like 4 600 watt mh/hps for a room that size.

Lights would still on the same schedule they were on before the time changed. You'd actually be leaving your lights on an hour longer for a day by changing your timers time, and they'd come on an hour earlier than usual for the rest of your cycle. Personally I leave my timer until I start my...

Big bloom has been used the entire grow, it's microbes and what not 0-.5-.4. I added the tiger bloom 1/14, 7 days after flipping the lights at .5 tsp per gallon. Fed veg nutes until 1/21, started flowering the 25h. Just been tiger bloom since 1/28. Just noticed the colors today.

So I need to back off the tiger bloom? Or give it more grow with tiger? I had previously cut the grow, I added it back today when I fed.

It's spreading rapidly. Was only inner leaves this morning, leaves on the outskirts of the scrog were still green, they all have a slight purple tint now. Fed it around 2pm today will just have to wait for tomorrow and see what happens.
