side by side aerocloner vs bubble cloner......

when you get the root development you want out of the bubble cloner can you then place the plants in soil? or do you need to stay in a dwc system? Also while cloning in bubbler do you use any nutes or just plain water with good ph?

    200 w cfl grow, by DANfour20

I just made a thread under indoor growing cfl lighting called "CFL light loss by distance" showing how cfls just cant push light very far with my lux meter. Worth looking at if you want to see what happens in just a few inches of room.

    CFL light loss by distancedistance

I have a 125W CFL light i veg seedlings under until they have 2 sets of fan leaves then i move under my led. People ask me why not just grow under it amd seem to think that its just as good as an led. It isnt it will never be. You can keep a cfl close to all your leaves and get a decent harvest...

They could be so small because the plants are just very small. Looks like they were hardly vegged. Went to flower very quickly. It could also be a weak pheno as well. I have seen some great cfl harvests also but they are few in number compared to other lights. You have done a great job and i...

1st Grow, Nirvana Swiss Cheese Auto in soil with CFL, 5 gallon space bucket

You can plant it any time you like really. I used to wait and let the root get long i dont care anymore. I plant usually when its 1/4 inch just takes a while in the soil to sprout anyway. The first 2 weeks drag by so slow its like murder. Cant wait to see this progress. Also if you start them...

1st Grow, Nirvana Swiss Cheese Auto in soil with CFL, 5 gallon space bucket

Enriched with miracle grow plant food. Read the back carefully. FFOF runs hot already added nutes from thenmiracle grow may be too much but ive never tried it i just stay away from it altogether. Most people that i see do a 50/50 mix soil perlite but you can really mix it however you like...

Cfl will just never give you big dense nugs. I started growing with cfl and when I switched to led the difference was wonderful. I understand micro grows and cfl versatility as well as cost efficiency but if you can expand to a larger grow with hps or led it will greatly increase your yield...

You could harvest now if you wanted. Looks plenty cloudy but i would wait for more amber. The more amber the more couch lock. The more cloudy the more yead high. So its upto your preference. Great looking plant.

3x3 LED Sour Diesel Blue Dream Super Lemon Haze

Yeah i ended up finding a metal fence gate at lowes for $7. I used a dremel to cut the ends off of it and it works great to keep them elevated. I just dont want to have to mess with drip pans anymore. I dont have a set up for drain to waste either. Im looking forward to dwc but i am hesitant...

3x3 LED Sour Diesel Blue Dream Super Lemon Haze

Ok so i was lazy and waited until tonight to put the screen together and drop it in. I ordered my exhaust fan and have my carbon filter already. I also picked up some terpinator and they gave me a free small bottle of silica. Dont know if ill try the silica this grow or not. For those keeping...

1st Grow, Nirvana Swiss Cheese Auto in soil with CFL, 5 gallon space bucket

I would use ph down to get that under 7. Like 6.7 6.8 or so id fine. I grow in FFOF straight from seed no problems. My tap water is 7.0 around 115ppm or so. I would not want it above 7 though cause the ph of your soil could rise over time.

    NEED HELP NEW GROWER

As far as the nute burn (sorry forgot to address in prev post) i wouldnt worry about it. How often are you giving nutes compared to plain water? Like 1-1 nutes water nutes water or 2-1 nute nute water. As long as you dont see the tips of your new leaves at the top of your plant turning and it...

    NEED HELP NEW GROWER

From what i know of organic nutrients its all about supporting the microbial ecosystem in the soil. Do you know what your soil ph is? Could be a lock out but i think you would see more going on with the plant if it was locked out.

1600w LED Multi strain - GDP, GG4, Alien OG, Purple Alien, Mobb Boss, Crater Lake

My last grow had 3 plants. Same strain soil nutes everything. One of them had those weird leaves dark green curved and rubbery feeling. Never figured out whyn but the bud was just fine so i wouldnt worry too much unless it starts really getting weird.

    NEED HELP NEW GROWER

Im leaning towards magnesium deficiency here for the blotchy spotting leaves. Is there a cal mag or something with magnesium in it that you have? Im unfamiliar with you nute product line. This is a very common problem most new growers have. The very tips of leaves turning yellow is nute burn...

First time grower looking for a bit of advice

Brown spots from calcium deficiency. Looks like it was only on lowest leaves so now that you have added calmag to feed problem fixed itself. Top leaves look good no more issue.

Bud Rot or Just Nutrient Deficient and Dry

Agreed with these 2. Looks like you had some nute burn issue not a big deal but too close to the light and it makes your sugar leaves dry up and die like an old leaf.
