That's from a bag seed of sum Cali skunk it was under 8 CFLs 23w it was some of the best buds I grew I'm on my 4th grow now which I have a few of these going sum platinum cookies and a few Hollister kush hope they start to get bigger fast

Day 44 since 12/12. Day 32 since flowers showed. I'm really disappointed with my buds size. Really hoping there going to get fat within there last 4 weeks.

I'm hoping each of the 20 plus tops on each plant will give at least 1 gram dry weight... But now I'm not so sure. What do you guys think?

Those 2 look around the size of my first grow though you have done a better job. I used cfls back then and i remember my tops being anywhere from 2-6grams dry each if im remembering right. It was small closet cfl grow. Moved onto led now there is no comparison. Better buds faster growth, if you can upgrade to a good led and tent you will be able to get huge yields man. Keep it up happy growing

Well I'm getting a tent tomorrow, not sure what size it is but I'm thinking it's 2x2x1 Metres by the way my friend was describing it, he got it as a gift but enjoys growing in his cupboard which is actually larger and he's practically giving me it for 10 pounds. I'll move my plants into there tomorrow. Depending on what this grow goes like in 4 weeks time I may be buying a 400 watt HPs for my next grow.

Nice deal on the tent. Also i saw earlier in your grow you had issue with your fan making your door hum. I didnt see if you got that resolved but i like to take an old rag or piece of cloth and put behind it between the door and fan. Helps muffle the sound sometimes you need 2 pieces but it works pretty well.

I tried mounting it through some Styrofoam but still door hummed like hell, I got a real carbon filter of same friend for free, I was using a diy one but there was no airflow, I hooked it up and placed it on my shelf at the top of my cupboard. No more humming. But I have to sleep through the noise of it blowing now I have it on lol.

Great grow so far dude. Do you defoliate into Flowering? I've been taking off some fan leaves here in there and my plant is 11 days into flowering. I think I cut like 5 off last night. Anyways I know how you feel about growth. I splurged last night and bought a few LED lights. I'm growing in a PC case and won't be able to upgrade for awhile. Shit's expensive

I wouldn't say great lol, mediocre at best... But hey they didn't die so it's a start rite?

Yes I did defoliate.. Twice in flower wish I hadn't.. I looked on grow weed easy .com which says "look at the incredible bud growth after four days" after they defoliated. Mine never got any bigger it seems. I feel the fan leaves I took of would have given energy to the budsites closest to where they where situated.

LEDs are too expensive (for me)and results look good but I've seen first hand how well HPs performs so I think I'll be heading in that direction after this grow if they don't fatten up and fill out soon.

May not have been defoliations fault.. Could be CFLs (many have said I'm not going to be happy with yield till I get a HPs and a tent) but I've seen great grows with cfls so ??.. Temps are great 18c to 27c. humidity is weird lol I get 40 percent sometimes, then I opened my cubby this morning and it was 70 percent even with my extraction on all night??

I'm using cheap pound shop nutes could be those. (Hydrococo grow,bloom and PK boost) Too many variables for me to say exactly what has gone wrong with my flower formation.

the trick with growing compact fluorescents is that you need a lot of them you need a lot of mix spectrums you need to get in this close to the plant as possible and you got a veg ther plant a lot longer if you want to get a respectable yield from compact fluorescents

Yes I vegged for 2 whole months and my plants are tiny. I did a lot of topping and training though. Light is as close as possible.

Yeah man, my thoughts exactly. Well 400 w HPs.

I've been told they will fill in the gaps and swell though using what i have now If I can pull an ounce of each plant I'll be happy and grow 4 plants next time under the CFL. I have a 6500k 105 watt for veg in another cuoboard soon as these get chopped I got 4 more plants waiting to take there place and go straight into flower.

I'm planning to harvest on 420. So another 3 weeks, Do you guys think that will be to long, to short??

You could harvest now if you wanted. Looks plenty cloudy but i would wait for more amber. The more amber the more couch lock. The more cloudy the more yead high. So its upto your preference. Great looking plant.

Gene she's tiny I was hoping for some more swelling in the last 2 weeks. Seriously the biggest top is like 1.5 cm thick ID be lucky to get a quarter of an ounce if I harvest rite now. And I want the couch lock high so if there is only 7grams at least you will feel them lol
