Thanks mudballs. Main reason I did it is because my neighbor gives me free barrels. Probably a regular cabinet would be a lot less trouble to lightproof and less conspicuous as well. But who knows, it may spark an idea for someone else?

These four plants Gave me over 6 ounces. No trimming or topping at all. Only removed dead leaves. Vegged for over two months and Flowered for 9 1/2 weeks.

I can see how the title could lead you to expect that. Should have probably called it, "Growing Two Small Plants INSIDE a Barrel" Yeah it was a lot of work, but I like to screw around, so I killed two birds with one barrel.

I grew 4 plants under 550 watts of cfl and t5. It was a long grow, ended up with just over 6 ounces.

I've never scrogged, but I'm going to be doing a vertical mini scrog and don't plan to top my plants at all. Just going to try LST and bring my lower branches out through the bottom. If you're growing in a small space, 3 topped plants may get pretty crowded especially if you've vegged that long...
