I run a chiller in my 5x9 flower tent, but not in my 4x4 veg tent. In the veg tent I use a lot of hydroguard and as long as I stay under 72 everything seems to be fine. The 75+ range is where everything seems to go terrible. And lets not forget the dissolved oxygen levels start to plummet...

I run CO2 in my 5x9 gorilla tent and AC is always an issue as it breaks the seal. I generally just turn the AC off unless temps get over 86-88; at that point I'm willing to waste some CO2 to cool the tent. Higher temps are desired while running CO2 with LEDs anyways.

780ppm is definitely hot for seedlings. My source water is 130ppm and I use roughly 400ppm for the first two weeks before doing a reservoir change and going up to 500-600. Your water temp is great, how much air are you pumping in the reservoir? Make sure you have more than enough

Bacterial blooms can quickly change pH, although it tends to go down and not up. Have you tested your source water?

I always vote for DWC but there's pros and cons of all forms of hydroponics

Pumps will produce heat, but always use a chiller and problem solved

Your pH and concentration are fine..could definitely go heavier with nutes, but it looks like you're locked out somehow. Your nutrient ratios may be off

I bought the blackdog 4 or 5 years ago...$1300. Clearly outdated but it still does a great job. Using CO2 and the room is sealed so nothing is wasted. Thank you for taking the time to check out this journal.
