Transplanted and now they look sick

These plants were super healthy, put them in a 10 gallon pot to prepare for flower, the next day they were sick. I was using an HLG 600 R spec, but I kept having problems with that , so I switched it out today for a milder LED that I’ve used in the past . I believe that they keep getting sick...

    Making feminized seeds

Quick question, I am in the process of turning a plant to make feminized seeds. Male clusters are abundant, I plucked one off to see if there was any pollen inside of it, and there is nothing. I’m assuming it just hasn’t formed yet. How long into the process do the hermie plants take to drop...

Skunk seeds just germinated from the mid 1980's - 35 years old!!!

That would really suck. I know for sure we are allowed to mail seeds now. I saw the info that the DEA put out. I think what screwed them is that a hemp seed is the same as a THC dominant seed. They are both seeds of that plant. Kind of like poppy seeds. You can get seeds to grow opium all day...

Skunk seeds just germinated from the mid 1980's - 35 years old!!!

I think those seeds are still worth some thing, especially if you basically just ran an open pollination with some old school seeds. If there’s any more available, just let me know where to pick them up because that’s awesome. Time and space with all those seeds you could dig through there and...

    Aloe Vera flakes

I don’t think it did anything weird at all, I added about three times the recommended amount. probably was just a waste They look super happy

    Aloe Vera flakes

Accidentally used too many aloe Vera flakes. It’s the 200X that build a soil sells. Does it hurt your plant or was it just a waste?

    Rooted, clones, dying after transplant

I’ve never had this happen before. Back in the day I did it in a cloning tray. Started using easy cloners a while ago. I’ve always gone straight from the cloner into my soil and never had a problem. Now every single one of them are dying. I don’t use a humidity dome. I’ve been keeping them under...

    polyploidism

So I’m working on this cross. It was accidental, but I’m going with it because both of the parents were incredible. Strawberries and cream X Runtz mint. Going to take the F1 and cross it to a Swazi that I found. Anyway this is just for myself. I would give away seeds if somebody wanted them but...

    Pure Protein Dry

So I used it in conjunction with kelp extract. they are doing really well, but I am always afraid of consequences. My concern is that one of the products can burn my plants if I overdo it. Does anyone know if the pure protein dry would burn their plants? Not from water droplet magnification but...

    Nutrient burn or deficiency?

Seems like it’s not damaging new leaves Only getting more dramatic on the already affected leaves. Looks like a potassium deficiency from the water being off or a nutrient burn from the kelp that I foliar fed.

    Nutrient burn or deficiency?

Whatever comes out of the tap. It’s usually around 500 I only grow this way because it’s easy and really don’t want to go through Ro water and adding back what ever I am missing. never had a nutrient burn from this soil so I am a little surprised. I might go coco again It’s turning into a...

    Nutrient burn or deficiency?

Cannot tell if this is a nutrient burn or if it’s a deficiency. Started experimenting with using half Britta and half inline hose filtered water in super soil. My pH here is insane. 8.2 out of the tap. I didn’t want to use pH down anymore so I mixed the two types of filtered water and the pH...

PH for water in living soil

My pH is crazy coming out of the tap, I filter my water to get rid of chlorine and chloramines , etc. but my pH is about 8.2. I started mixing Britta filtered water with my in-line hose filter and it brought my ph to 6.8. The Brittany drops the ph to 5.5 so I’m afraid that the Britta is going...

    Selecting males for breeding

I have selected a few strong males before. I am not a breeder.. In the last year I have been trying my luck at a few different things, but have not put in the time and dedication that our most respected friends have. That being said, this plant looks like it’s going to be a boy. It has no...

Cannot figure this out, is it my light?

Looking like they are bouncing back . I might switch growing methods up after this. Living soil is amazing but really difficult in small spaces. So the solution was a transplant into a container big enough for them to spread out. Fed about 200 ppm of cal mag+ to fill the void while they...

Cannot figure this out, is it my light?

The issue I’m about to run into is the flowering top dress. It’s organic and usually starts to kick in about 2 weeks after application. Before they went south I was top dressing and will now have that to deal with. Starting to see new growth having thin bladed leaves because she wants to flip...

Cannot figure this out, is it my light?

I turned the light down, I am hoping that me top dressing. The plants didn’t cause them a bunch of problems because I was supposed to flip the flower and I began top dressing a few weeks ago. The last time this happened they weren’t lookin too hot and when I flipped them to flower, everything...

Cannot figure this out, is it my light?

The light right now is at 50% power It’s about 38 inches away It is either the light or the soil I’m just cautious about adding anything into this type of soil because it’s already loaded and I’ve already started top dressing, flowering nutrients It’s all organic and it takes time to break down...

Cannot figure this out, is it my light?

I’m sure you are absolutely correct because everything is pointing to a nutrient deficiency. I went with this growing method because it was easier than having to measure out my ppps every time I feed. Real pain So I transplanted into 10 gallon pots That should be big enough to carry them...

Cannot figure this out, is it my light?

So, with big roots, you have to do absolutely nothing with feeding in veg. The soil is pretty hot. I’ll try throwing in some epsom salt, I foliar fed with Epsom salt the other day, and it definitely made them greener, but they did not bounce back all the way. Everything under that light get...
