    Help understanding BLux Vesta Series

Also,I looked into it. It's actually quite a bit cheaper to buy the individual Thrive strips from Bridgelux (ie one strip in 2700k and one strip in 5000k), as opposed to buying one Vesta thrive strip (which has two rows of diodes, one in each spectrum). In the US, with volume price breaks for a...

Hlg-150-54 non dimmable driver needs light

Nice! Great board according to several talented growers on here. Everyone has been happy with HLG's customer service, and, if you have any questions, HLG are happy to help.

They have been out for a while. Wonder if he's getting the sink bundle? Maybe they don't have the bare qb96's anymore.

Hlg-150-54 non dimmable driver needs light

HLG's Diablo board will damn sure take 150 watts. Purchase a Diablo board with appropriate slate heating (HLG sells them as a bundle. Just don't wire it backwards, this can damage the board (in the case of the Diablo only, other boards won't care). Also, GroMaus pucks are still around. Add...

Do any LED fixtures produce an HPS-like color?

Didn't Citizen make a 2200K amber cob? Also, you can drill down the options fields on Digi-Key or whatnot and select your cct. Lots of weirdness in that regard. Don't recall a pre-built fixture at 2000ishK though.

The Best Deals Thread. Post Best Deals And Lowest Prices Links

Maybe I read the synopsis incorrectly, but it would appear those straps are good for about 8 watts max (0.2ma x 41v = 8.2 watts). Either I misread the thing, or you will need a significant number of straps to accomplish your objective.

Are these any goof for growing?

You could always buy some supplemental red down the road if you want to flower with them. Even a few strings of GLA's Buddies in 660nm or the PC red would work great and be easy to implement. My work threw away a bunch of Cree brand high bay led's after they burned up for the second time...

    Trying to beef up lighting

TCH hit the proverbial nail on the proverbial head. Lurk the best deals thread over in the grow room design subforum. Keep an eye out for deals on updayday or samophon brand lights. Or surf on over to the den of thieves, check out Sundopt lights. Can order them from US warehouse if you are...

    Fluence spydr 2i turning off?

1212ham is correct, a bad driver is more likely. I mentioned the fuses because they are used by some manufacturers (no idea which ones off the top of my head other than Timber), and it just happened to pop into my head while I was reading this thread.

    Fluence spydr 2i turning off?

Maybe look into whether or not Fluence used a fuse, or fuses, in the construction of this light? Some high end manufacturers do, and you may have blown one, or are getting ready to.

    Need help with LED choice.

Amazon lists a 480w-ish bar light from a company called Samophon (or similar). One of the fellows on here ran it next to a MarsHydro FCE 4800, and the Samaphon (?) compared favorably. Said lights were recently ~ $369, shipped in the US. I know things are harder to come by sometimes depending...

    Stupid question

You said "same seed stock"? As in, the same seeds you were running 5 years ago? In my experience (20 years ago and a life time away, admittedly), 4 or 5 years is about the point at which my seed stock started to get a little long in the tooth. Seeds weren't bunk at that point, but I...
