Upgraded Hydro System - any advice is appreciated

This thread has been here a bit, but getting your Temps up around 84 degrees F could be helpful.

Stumped as to what’s going on

What are your Temps like? LED likes 83 to 85 degrees F throughout the grow. Sorry if this has already been addressed. If your VPD is in range, some Epsom salts should do wonders (as several others have suggested).

TonyGreen's Tortured Beans "Bubble Head" meets the Gavita LED's............

Also, SSHZ, as always, love the journal. Naysayers may nay say, but I see what you're laying down. Clean, dialed in space makes for a consistently productive environment. A pleasure.

TonyGreen's Tortured Beans "Bubble Head" meets the Gavita LED's............

I mostly stopped inhaling cannabis several years ago, when I found I no longer had the hankerin' for "puff-puff, oh, fuck, I'm HIGH!" I made brownies for awhile (no oil, just grind the herb in a coffee grinder until it is flour consistency), but found the dosing to be somewhat problematic. One...

The Best Deals Thread. Post Best Deals And Lowest Prices Links

I had a look at the 400w Bozily. It would be super easy to "mod" this light by building your own frame and mounting the boards a reasonable distance from one another. The supplied framing results in a final dimension of 16"x33". Not a great form factor for most (any?) tents. Just replacing...

Why are my purple kush plants droopy?

That seems like an awful lot of light for that space. Perhaps phototoxicity as it pertains to nutrient uptake. Not an expert by any means (full disclosure my last crop was in 2000 AD, it's been awhile). Still, the Mega Pro should be plenty of photons for a 4x4 space. Also, the form factor of...

Tnutz 1inch by half inch for heatsink, anyone tried?

It should be fine at 50W, I agree with Ron. A 46" length comes out to 670ish grams, which should be more than sufficient for that thermal load. An actively cooled heatsink of that mass will cool an 80W CPU no problem. Granted, you're running passive, but you've got plenty of surface area with...

Tnutz 1inch by half inch for heatsink, anyone tried?

Can you find the mass (weight) per unit length of that profile? T slot comes in different thicknesses for many of the profiles. Thermal dissipation is a function of the material in question, the mass of said material and the amount of surface area available for thermal dissipation. "Heavy is...

    Cleaning LED boards

Pretty sure 99% isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and a soft, lint free cloth is most (all?) manufacturers recommendation. For god's sake, check my math and make sure but, like the alcohol, I'm about 99%. Lower concentrations (70% or 90% in the states) should also work. Make sure your light...

    Retrofitting LumiGrow Fixtures

Will the HLG driver output at 54V? Can't remember off the top of my head. "Constant Voltage" drivers output a range of voltages, not sure the 48V driver you have will do 54V, but worth a look. If they will do 54V, you could fit two QB96 Elite V2's per heatsink, and run each board at 150W...

    Visual Aura?

No tear! Hooray! Some hemorrhaging, which is worse than no hemorrhaging, but still preferred to my eyeball de-laminating. Good to hear you practice preventative maintenance for your eyes. On topic, I feel like we're in somewhat uncharted waters with long term exposure to high efficiency...

    Visual Aura?

Hey kids. Looooooonnnngggg time lurker (7+ years), first time poster. First, DAttRON, love your grow and your posts. Really look forward to seeing it and reading them. Just wanted to chime in on the symptoms you are experiencing/describing. Exposure to intense point source lighting could...
