To wipe , or not to wipe Neem oil, that is the question ?

Great video, from the godfather of growing! - the main difference here, is he is treating PM - I had PM, which is why I started washing buds, and never stopped. Thanks for sharing Cookie.

rainwater to ph down or not

Without knowing what medium you are growing in, its hard to recommed a range - either way, 8.2 is outside of an ideal range, so I would lower it, down to 6.5 or there abouts, for a nice average where neuts can be absorbed. Slightly higher in some scenarios, lower in others. post more info about...

    How am I doing?

Hey Tom, your plants look really happy - I cant see below the canopy, but you may want to clean up the lower half and let those tops get all the glory. You have a few stretchers, which you could still train down and even the canopy - with a TS1000, you would do well with keeping them as close to...

To wipe , or not to wipe Neem oil, that is the question ?

Exactly that - every 7 (if its real bad) to 14 (if you caught this early) days will work to sort out the main issue you have - THRIPES. This is the first time that you have had to deal with this, so you can do nothing but learn - Bloom has a great suggestion above. Neem oil is an excellent...

To wipe , or not to wipe Neem oil, that is the question ?

If you have the time and patience, then wipe away, spraying by natures gets you better coverage - so I choose to spray, as one treatments is often not enough and you really need to eliminate the issue, not just try to hinder it.

To wipe , or not to wipe Neem oil, that is the question ?

Yellow sticky traps, are like balck friday for bugs - they attract a number of pests (specifically Thripes) to land onto them, where they will live a short life stuck to a pad and die, they have squares to help you understand the amount of pests you have in a given area. Fairly cheap - so get a...

2 week old plants - am i doing ok?

Hell might even be too much neuts for thier size - what soil mix did you use? Homemade or store bought?, looks rich in Nitrogen, with no perlite to loosen things up.

2 week old plants - am i doing ok?

No, they are not doing great - they are getting by for now, but those leaves are curling up, and asking for help. possibly heat from the bulb being to close, but they are also showing a deficiency of sorts - might be PH related, or a lack of certain neuts.. hard to say with the info to work with.

First homemade grow box, plants started drooping

You state that you can water every day... that is likely your issue, those cans are long in profile, and I would be willing to bet the bottom half is still soaked when it comes to the next watering. roots dont like that, and it can take a few days for issues to start showing issues. Back off on...

Mold/ spider web in one nug

That looks more like a web to me than mold. I would not touch any bud with mold on it.. Spiders.. Well, maybe not super fun to smoke, could be discarded as an angels share!

To wipe , or not to wipe Neem oil, that is the question ?

You could initially try yellow sticky traps and avoid the oil.. Personally I have used oil mid flowering and washed my buds at harvest. For me, there was no issues doing it that way, and the neem took care of my issue. This is a highly contested topic around neem during flowering, but I needed...

    Help help

I don't see any signs of fert burn whatsoever, so that leaves to potential issues here. Overwatering or heat. From the pics it looks hot out there? Does this look worse mid day and somewhat improve in the evenings? What's your watering schedule like?

    White spots help!

Damn, that's definitely PM! I've had that before, real nasty and I've never gotten rid of it when it hits, only really controlled it enough to harvest and wash my buds in peroxide. There are many solutions out there, I use peroxide diluted right down. Spray in low light, cool weather every...

    Drying process

What Temps and RH are you drying in.. Leaves droop and become soft initially, when chopping the whole plant. Pics and some more info goes a long way.

I have a question can a couple people tell me what stage my plant is in?(no buds look kindve dye but roots growing good in leafs standing up

If you don't see signs of sex (assuming reg seeds) then you are still in veg. Have you switched light cycle yet? Post some close up at the nodes and maybe we could see early signs.. Really need a bit more info to go on. Looks like the leaves are curling in places. What's your setup and Temps?

    Thoughts on first grow?

Looks good, maybe get the height under control.. Canopy will get tricky with that profile once flowering stretch starts, scrog net would do well for an even spread. Overall she looks happy and healthy. 8 weeks switch seems about right for the space you have.

    How much longer?

They are looking great, nice fade starting, loupe will tell you so much about what's really happening, but from a quick glance, your are about a week out from a great harvest.

    Pot size?

Exactly that.. Bigger pots, bigger plants, bigger water buffer, better root protection and generally an overall better return for your time.

    Lighting

Not sure where you are wanting to put them, but my main concern would be pests coming back in with your plants... Technically you could take them out for a bit, but it seems that's more hassle then working on your environment..
