Personally I'd say you're ready to flip. My current grow is Wedding Cake S1 from seed and overall plant size went up by around 25-30% after flip. If that's the case with you, that space will be full. Also if your plant is anything like mine, it has been a super easy going grow.

Could be anthocyanins which can travel up the trichome. My last prev plant (French Cookies) was really high in anthocyanins which allowed me to make purple rosin. Idk though, looking at the rest of your flower I wouldn't suspect much anthocyanins.
