Man dead-heading is just the equivalent to pruning, simple as that. It can mean multiple things but in this context it just means snipping off unhealthy or dying leaves to prevent further issues.

Sorry I was high, I meant a 40-60% humidity vegetative, 40-50% flowering, 70-80 degrees is ideal for growing Cannabis, I've been doing this for 8 years man I'm just telling you what I've discovered

that's what I'm sayin brother man, if its a sanitized indoor grow its prob not going to destroy the crop, but infection is always a possibility. I personally let the plant grow naturally only training the branches... I'd never cut up the leaves...

cutting ab 1/3 to 1/2 an inch off to help those bottom leaves out wont hurt but its not particularly necessary, this can also cause infection! I recommend just dead-heading as needed

its gonna depend on the moisture of the soil its already in and the moisture of the coco, if you chose to use a bio-degradable peat moss pot, soak it in water, peel off most of the edges and simply pop it in the soil without watering, mist the top of the soil well and dont water for another...
