Agreed, and I am doing both,, I have one plant that I didn’t top that is in hydro as well. The mains temp is amlike an inch and a half thick already. Topped plant, about an inch, it was a gamble for sure

I waited till six and cut it at 3, just gave it’s roots time to build up a bit stronger, I only did mine once since it is an auto grow and didn’t want to chance anymore than I already was
