    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

I came to the same conclusion. So, is it safe in a recirculating ebb n flow using hydroton as a medium?

    Hydroguard or southern ag gff?

What is the difference in these products? Isnt it the same bacteria in each bottle? Huge price difference! Hydrogaurd label says it has .038% bacteria and is clear. Southern AG says it has 98.85% bacteria and is like chocolate milk. Is this because it so much more potent? Is Southern AG safe for...

Reservoir : stirring pump or air stone?

I have well water, so no water bill. I use a 1/4" refrigerator waterline looped 20 ft with zip ties and dropped it in my 55 gaalon res. Feed back out and to a drain. Barely have to turn it on. Cools so fast if you forget it's on res will hit 52°F

    Jacks321 and npk ratios

Ok, yes that is their entire line up. It seems to me that Jack's is getting into blending different mixes and labeling them for different purposes. Trying to make a buck I guess? Just like all the others with their "4-20-36" or whatever. They gota snazzy it up for the stoners right? Isn't the...

I got the small bag of megacrop. Gonna use it on my tomatoes and peppers in my garden outside. I have heard some people bragging up mc, and some bashing it, especially in a recirculating system. Not exactly sure why that would matter?

I also was at the Jack's website checking out their different feed schedules. I have well water. I figured the "city llimit" was for city water with chlorine. I use RO water so I blew right past it.

    Jacks321 and npk ratios

Ok, I think have my ratios set at 3-1-4 veg and early flower. Then to a 1-1-2 ratio wk3 of flower. Here is what I came up with.

I appreciate all your numbers. You say you are in coco, correct? Is that drain to waste? I run 12 ebb and flow buckets with 3 gallon baskets of hydroton in a recirculating system. I would expect differences in ratios would be necessary?

    Jacks321 and npk ratios

Absolutely! Got it on my laptop. I have been setting up feed schedules for GH flora series and Jack's 321. Decided on Jack's, cheaper and seems to have a little more control than GH.

No. Never used an all purpose mix. I have used AN for WAY too long. I considered mega crop but if I'm gonna switch to powder, I want control. For me it makes sense. Been growing for long enuf. Started outside and now inside 8+. Jack's 3 part gives you control. 3-1-4 for veg and early flower...

I run a 12 bucket ebb n flow system with a 50 gallon reservoir. My mediem is hydroton and using 1000 watts veg and 2000 watts for flower. I am planning to use Jack's 3-2-1 formula on my next run. This formula comes out to a 3-1-4 NPK ratio. After reading so much I am considering adjusting the...

Best NPK Ratio for Veg and Flower

I am planning to use Jack's 3-2-1 formula on my next run. This formula comes out to a 3-1-4 NPK ratio. After reading so much I am considering adjusting the formula to different ratios. There are so many differing opinions! Found this in a prior post and seems to make the most sense to me. Not...

    Thermal Management

On the topic of heatsinks and building your own light, can you use larger heatsinks than necessary for better heat dissipation? Like using 2" wide heatsinks and 1" wide led strips. Would it help extend led lifespan or help slow the degradation of the strips?

I have an 8x10 tent in a 10x13 room in the basement. Divider splits the tent space into 2 areas. 4x8 2000 watt HPS flower, and divider split with 8x6 area for 1000w MH veg. NOTE: All ebb n flow buckets, extra veg space is for control buckets etc. What size ductless system would you suggest? I...
