    Free seed pre harvest pics

I got a free Bubba x Cheese seed last year and finally grew it out this summer. Took a few clones and did a test run to gauge the strain's viability. Here are the results. 7 clones that covered ~9ft2 of the garden: Edit: not sure why the other pics are so small. I apologize again for...

    Free seed pre harvest pics

I took a few pics of a test run I was harvesting last night, and found several pics that I think represent some to the plants above. My apologies for being so lame about this. Simon

    Humidity paks 62%

Yes, that was very clever of them. All those years spent in development and testing. ... still waiting for royalty checks from all the "inventors." Simon

If you're talking to me, my harvests aren't exactly modest. :bigjoint: Simon

    I Hate Trimming!!!

By sheer coincidence, I'm blowing a doob ATM before diving into some trimming, myself. Hate it, but that's why we get the big bucks. ;) My last outdoor grow, about a decade back, took 3 solid days to trim. Morning to night. The joint on my thumb, agitated by the scissors, was literally...

When to buy a new light?

My personal rule of thumb: Use the biggest HPS that can be cooled effectively. The difference in yield and the overall quality of the flowers is no joke, even when going from a good 600 to a 1K. I'd strongly suggest running a 1K, and ditching the T5s, if your room allows it. Simon

    nutes

I grow with Pro-Mix and a commercial fertilizer that can be purchased in many garden stores, and average ~3oz/ft2 dry from virtually any strain. Granted, this isn't my first rodeo, but my point is this: simplicity is key, especially for a new grower. Use whatever you like that makes for the...

When to buy a new light?

No flush. I do reduce the nutrient concentration by a half during the last 5-10 days of bloom, depending. Simon

When to buy a new light?

I have a light meter. Been using one since my first grow. IME, its absolute readings have little relevance. It's the relative readings that matter, meaning, one compared to another. Too, it's a great tool for setting up the plants within the garden for maximum exposure. Simon

Just show us some plants with a marker that identifies them as yours. Simon

When to buy a new light?

Yes, it's time. I'd suggest buying a lamp made by a "real" company: GE, Ushio, Philips. Stay away from Chinese lamps with argo-sounding names. Hortilux 600HPS, while promoted heavily on the forums, showed a relatively low output (in my testing) that diminished fairly quickly. Tossed it after 2...

    What is flushing ?

Say what? I grow OGKush as my signature product and have been for years. It's the genetics that make it so. WTF does "kushed" even mean? Simon

    Sweating and Curing

Yea, leave fresh product under the sun in a closed container. Un-fucking-believable. Simon

    Nutrients for soil grows

I use Jack's Classic, exclusively. All-purpose in veg, Blossom Booster in flower. That's it. No additives, no special potions, no magic wands. Pro-Mix right out of the bag with nothing added. Three ingredients, total, including the medium. Easy peasy. You can see more results link'd in my sig.

    Jack's Classic growers

Couldn't agree more. Hope you don't mind the short passage I added. Simplicity is key, especially for someone starting out. Simon

Jack's Classic vs Advanced vs Fox Farm Nutes

FWIW, I use a standard tablespoon (measure). The kind you buy at any store. Over 10 years now (all soil). Some of the results are link'd in my sig. This isn't to say that weighing isn't more accurate; I'm sure it is. Good luck. Simon

    A perfect cure every time

Just read a PM from a grower who took the time to translate the tutorial into German, as a way of allowing German speakers to be exposed to the material. That's truly very cool. Simon

Long term storage in vacuum sealed jars, should I use humidipaks?

Try reading my comments again. If they still don't make no sense to you, it's something I can live with. Good luck. Simon
