    Cool Tube vs Bare Bulb

Thing I've noticed about tubes is the grower. They start out good and keep the tube clean. After about 6 mos the cleaning tends to fall way off to the wayside. Then you can scrape the shit off with your finger nail. that's when lumins go to pot.

    Vertical growing and LST?

I LST for vertical. Start in early veg to fit / fill a vertical screen and continue throughout. I also top, FIM, Defoliate, and "super top". They're all just tools used to fill a 26 X 40+ high screen the best it can. I grow perpetual. Start with horizontal lighting for Veg, then move into the...

    400w vertical... Number of plants.

2! Wide screened vertical SCROG. Perpetual one in,, one out every 5/6 weeks. Each screen should reach near 1/2 around light, tight & close. Really wouldn't be that big,, but productive with topping, LSTing and such. Try 40 inch tall screens and go from there.

    how close is to close

Enviroment means a lot. When the leaves get crispy (sacrificial 1 or 2 fingers) back off 2 inch and go. That's a pretty hard push. But if your root system is solid,, it'll work good.

    Icannabis goes vertical...my new setup!!!

The tubes will give you nothing but head aches. All the "coolness" is thru the tube. Basics... light is energy. As the light hits progressively darker / solid colors (generally speaking) you'll have heat. The tubes cool the bulb,, not the plants. Been there,,, done that. Honestly, save the...

Left the 600, taking on the vert, CFL style

LOL... Well only showing part of the plant. Yield was a shade over 3 oz total. Strain, Dinafem Roadrunner Autoflower. Was part of a auto contest by Kulong on this site. Search "Cage Match". EDIT; nugs were pretty tight.

Plant count and veg time question. New to vertical growing

Try perpetual? New plants on short side, older on tall side. Bulb down middle. Bushy will take more floor space than spindly. Perpetual w/ training would seem like the way to go. 400 sounds good for bare bulb with a V-SCROG. But I'd Mylar everything nice and flat like a mirror. Get the most you...

    Minimum spacing for Mainlining plants

No matter the strain, bush, etc. I try not to get any closer than 4 inch between plant leaves and such. Of course that generally means possibly moving them around as they grow.

when does the 1st week of flowering begin after switching to 12/12?

For planning & scheduling future grows (perpetual) the day they hit 12 / 12 is start. For one room to another and to have them come out in a timely way,, it helps me plan & fire. Never knew if it was "politically correct" though.

How to setup a vertical HPS?

Quite honestly,,, you'd do better with vertical CFLs in there. Drop a 50 ish watter down the middle and surround with 4 droppers in the 25 watt range. You'll be smiling and cool!

    Colloidal silver help!

Nothing wrong with the reddish - brownish CS. It's what I'm using now. Simply from running the generator longer than probably need be. Working good for me spraying every other day. The almost clear CS I needed to spray at least daily, sometime twice a day. Brownish is simply more concentrated...

Experienced help available in S.E. RI (putting a twist on "provider")

Wow. Lots of hits! (perhaps a bonafide need?) Gonna try and put this back up in some way that is "State" friendly (no prob) and still relativly under the federal wire. (not so easy) 1/2 legal sucks!
