Let them dry down and water again straight water. Check the runoff when you do. See what it says. Likely get a flush of white hairs when it drops back down. Id look at flushing periodically using passive hydro type setups.

Anybody got any experience with a ph probe getting interference form the ballast? Thought the Ph probe went out but, after talking with tech support they said that its possible that the Ph probe picks up waves form the ballast. Did some testing on it and sure enough that was the issue.

From the pictures you provided I see no evidence of spider mites. Doesn't mean there isn't one on the plant anywhere but I see no evidence. Spider mites do not munch holes through the leaf either.

Like renfro mentioned keep a backup on hand if possible of critical components. Never failed it seems when I was doing commercial work; motors and pumps only shit the bed on a Friday afternoon at a bad time.
