The CFLs are 3000 and the LED I'm unsure of but similar ones online have 4100 which I know isn't optimal. I'm trying to keep it small and low key. My only concern going with better bulbs is I'd need to get better lamps to be safe and not start a fire

I don't really know lol. and currently have a 23w above each plant plus a 26w led. Hardly anything but they seem to be doing good besides the first day where they stretched. The one on the right is actually only 2 days from seed and already got the next leaves coming in

Yeah they are probably 3-4 inches away and i don't really feel any heat doing the hand test

Yeah the only thing I'm wondering is if it might be okay because my lights are cheap CFLs and I need to keep it pretty small, so i may switch it to 12/12 after 3-4 weeks

Okay cool. I'm going to try all the way through with it. I've added a second pump, and I'm going to add a little hydroton to give them a stronger base and cover the opening with foil to block any light. I'll add a fan when it's a established a bit. Any suggestions? The thing only holds 5.5 cups...
