600 is good for 4x4 and 1000 is good for "up to 5x5", could stretch it a bit farther with a good hood maybe. So basically you need all three of your lights right from the beginning if you have a 12' length.

Could be. My last grow I used an HLG Quantum board and the plants under that light had stupid crazy amounts of foxtailing. But it was a different strain than I had ever grown before, so I cannot definitively blame the led.

How small is the tent? The 150 would add a few more photons to your tent. But the 150hps will be extremely overpowered by the much more efficient cmh, and probably wouldn't add enough photons to justify the purchase. I would say if you want to go hid, go with at least a 250W hps, or 400. Or...

I always put my seeds directly into the soil to germinate. Works great. Just keep them warm.

You can check it yes, that is good. Just don't get carried away. The water in question is just .2 above neutral and the optimal zone for absorption. Since it's a soil grow, that will be just about perfect with the lower ph in a good soil. Hydroponics is where you really have to be careful...

Keep her warm. Get a little air flowing around it to dry that soil out a bit, looks a bit wet. And then keep your fingers crossed. Removing the seed husk manually can be traumatic sometimes.

"Root ph" The soil will lower the ph as the water passes thru to the roots. And adding nutes changes the ph, so if you check before the nutes are mixed you have a completely incorrect reading.

The soil has all kinds of decomposing matter that lower the ph as it goes in. You lower it, then the soil does it could go too low actually.. you have practically neutral water, give it straight. You may even need to use a ph up when you add nutes to the mix. Test after the nutes are mixed

If all you have are 1000W lights and a 2x2 tent you should just get a cheap led on Amazon and put in there. Even the cheap ones like Viparspectra are good enough for a 2x2 tent.

For distilled water you need to add a buffer to the water or ph can swing like crazy since it has no buffers

150W blurple would be equivelant of about a 300W hps.

No, it's not about led vs hps. It's about 150W hps being too small to be useful for anything and 1000W being a fire hazard in a 2x2 tent. If it was a 5x5 tent that 1000W would be great, but not for a 2x2
