    Citizen grow

Wow, that's a lot of light for that tent, it'll also produce a shit load of heat, I reckon you could double your footprint

Pin heatsinks vs Actively cooled extruded bars

Yup, those took a lot of drilling, thank fuck for self tappers though, LOL

Pin heatsinks vs Actively cooled extruded bars

I've gone with passive extruded bars, they work and look good, but I'd definitely go for pins now that they're more available and affordable. My lights are heavy and cumbersome and I just think pin sinks on frames would be easier to work with and much more adaptable.

    Teaming with Fungi...................Out soon!!!

Another thing Jeff talked about in that show was re-using your soil and said something along the lines of: If you've grown a cannabis plant in soil, then that soil has now become 'Designer compost' for growing cannabis in because all the right micro-organisms are already in place. I'm sure...

Been at the DIY again, hacking Mars Hydro's This one has only had minor surgery, around 20 blue/red diodes have been replaced by white diodes salvaged from the light further down this post. It's currently being used in my male flowering chamber, all of which were cut back to 1 branch each last...

Pictures of your DIY lights - Post your pics!!!

Not totally DIY, but a nice little Mars Hydro hack, IMHO. Pulls 208w at the wall and should be good enough for keeping plants ticking along and early vegging. Time will tell I suppose. 2nd hand Mars hydro = £60 8 x CLU048's = £64 I already had the rest of the materials required on hand and the...

    Teaming with Fungi...................Out soon!!!

I gotta go through TWN's again, chemistry has always been my weakest field of science, ever since setting fire to a jar of magnesium at school and trying to put it out with water, shit, I nearly blew the classroom up (maybe a little overdramatic now, but that's how it felt at the time)...

    Sustainable Organics Garden

Just had a seed catalogue through the door and was thinking the same thing while looking at the swede and turnips. It's always the part which grows above the ground that gets the purple coloration, the protected part underground remains yellow.

    Trinodal SSDD males

I've run a pack of Bodhi's SSDD and wanted to F2/Bx them, but the 3 males I've ended up with all have 3 branches at each internode. Is this a good/bad thing? Has anyone experienced this with SSDD or any other strain? Would you still use the collected pollen to make some F2's?

    Polyploid bud

It'll turn out disappointing, may look pretty, but from my experience it'll smoke like shit, ie, no potency

Morons is the right word, it's a good job Jeff has his own talk show and loves talking. The questions they were asking were shite and while he was talking about real interesting stuff, they were busy talking about their next bowl or fucking around with their phones, made my blood boil, ignorant...

    Rooftop SE Asia

Watched that Adam Dunn show with Jeff Lowenfels, all he uses is piss, bacterial dominant compost/EWC and cannabis leaf mulch. With a strong emphasis on getting a good mycorrhizal colony by keeping phos levels low in the soil and letting the micro-organisms do all the work for...

    DonBrennons 'Unconventional' organic gardens

Ahhhhh, it's fantastic, lay in bed till the dog really started getting pissed off(7.30am, a 2 hour oversleep for me), rolled a fatty and went for an hour's stroll around the local park, now chilling with another fatty and a coffee.:bigjoint: I'd actually consider the draft a good thing in a...
