How do you have your sq.ft. set-up? Watts per sq.ft. your trying to achieve ?

My HLG 240H-24B at full tilt draws 268 watts from the wall.

What's your thought on the epi's as a whole, I haven't used any epi's in 4 years, so I don't know if the quality has improved any from now to then.

I appreciate your honest response. But energy doesn't produce plant matter, simple sugars do. Again show me where photosynthesis happens in the absence of light. Now if it said respiration instead of photosynthetic processes I would of had no trouble with that statement.

Lets see. Last time I looked at it, it takes light and CO2 to produce carbohydrates for the plant to use as material for growth. So sure if one of the ingredients are lacking how would the plant be able to produce the same with less carbohydrate production. I guess this plant deifies the laws...

Depends on what you want from your build. Highest Eff. or total cost of build. The LRS is only 88% eff where the HLG's are up to 96% eff. So any gains by the strips being used is negated by the different drivers eff.

Be better off getting some Samsung strips and a driver. I retired my t-5 HO's with the LED replacement bulb as they don't work as well as strips.

I don't always agree with what Dr. Who states but I'll have to agree, as in 40+ years of growing I've never seen TMV on any cannabis plants inside or out.

Insects are the number 1 carrier for disease transmission. Seen it many times in my 40+ years of growing this plant. Not saying that's his problem, but eradicate the mites then see if the plants come out of it.

Or as stated a pathogen or virus transmitted by them.
