    ...All Things Vero...

I just ordered 6 3000k gen 7's 80 cri C's and 4 gen 7 3000k 90 cri C's.. going to build a 10 cob mix of 80 and 90 cri and run em at 100 watts each over a 4 x 4, see how that does, doing it this way because I just ordered 1750b drivers to upgrade my cree 3590 fixtures to run at 62 watts each...

I have a couple 3000k 80 cri c's flower fixtures I just built this week (2 9 cob fixtures).. I wanted to build a 3500k one to compare it to the vero 3000k and my cree cxb 3590 3500k fixtures.

You have any 3500k gen 7 80 cri C versions available to sell, like 9 of em maybe? Can't find any of those in stock either. BXRC-35E10K0-C-7x

Yeah, it has to be the color temp difference from my cxb 3590's, which are 3500k, the cree's look whiter, which in turn makes em look brighter to em. I have the 2 new vero fixtures over 4 x 4's, swapped out hps se 1000's, we'll see in a couple months how they performed. :)

Just finished building 2 more, first was 240 watts, second was 243 watts and third is pulling 244 watts, still does not look as bright as the 4000k d version lol

Just checked one I just put together tonight, its pulling 240 watts per 3 cobs without potentiometer hooked up and 240 watts with potentiometer installed and set to max. Think I am going to order 9 3500k version C's and build another to compare to the 3000k ones.

It may just be my eyes or because its in my flower room with gavitas, de 630 watt cmh and other led fixtures that it doesn't seem as bright as my vero 4000k veg lights.. plus it is not as white a light as the veg lights, more yellow looking so could be why it does not seem as bright to me. Even...

I do have a kill a watt thingy, I tested it on one of the 4000k D cob fixture I built (was 3 cobs) and it was pulling exactly 250 watts on a mean well hlg 240 2100b driver. I will have to try it with the next 9 cob 3000k fixture I need to built yet (build it in 3 sections, 3 cobs per...

    ...All Things Vero...

I built one of the 2 flower lights I have parts for last night, 9 vero 29 gen 7 3000k 80 cri C version at 1050mah (~72 watts each) I took down one of my 1000 se hps and put this in its place. I was a little disappointed in the output compared to the 8 vero 29 gen 7 4000k D version at 2100mah...

    Picking the right Potentiometer?

I don't know the answer to that one as I have not done it, technically you don't need a resistor at all though.. I would think the one linked would work in the same manner, someone else who knows for sure can chime in on that one to clarify.

Lumens, Par, Watts, and etc. aside which light performs best?

CMH or cobs are proven to be excellent (and efficient to boot).. not sure on quantum boards, have not done a lot of looking into them yet, once they in stock I may build a light and try em out.

    Picking the right Potentiometer?

Power plugs to power the driver itself? You can power more than one driver off a single power plug, would not effect the dimmer in any way. You could wire them separately or together, just need to choose the right dimmer at that point.

    Picking the right Potentiometer?

Correct, I have not wired multiple drivers to one dimmer but you would use a 50k instead of a 100k if you were doing 2 drivers off a single dimmer.

    Picking the right Potentiometer?

these are what I have been using for a single driver https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DIZJ6X0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0185FGYQA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 wire resistor (lets you dim from 10 to 100 percent)...
