Too many pill bugs, roly poly's, wood louse, whatever you call them. I'm thinking there was to much food when I moved all this to where it is now and it's time to reduce the numbers. I set a trap. Sneaky like.
In unrelated news, tis the season for walks in the woods.
Go Sox! Good to see you lit up and growing. Hope you're healing up. I know how that can go. Next time you hit the pnw send me a PM ahead of time and I'd be glad to donate some medicine. Dispensary weed, so sad.
Buds are curing, Dark Helmets have at least another week of veg, I'll get some pics along the way.
Dude Grows show did a segment on my dank nug submission.
Very much this. I just give my plants a gentle shake every morning in veg. A bit of a wiggle. I'm lucky in that a friend has abundant horsetail I can harvest.
I feel ya man, easier than you know though. Building life in your soil now will set you up for good things if/ when you do go that route. I did outdoor testbeds last year with veggies and this year the difference was dramatic.
Great thing about it is you can ease into it and slowly reduce...
They did exactly that in 2006 and again in 2008, nothing changed, banks got bailouts, homes were foreclosed, Libya, Syria, Yemen, continuation of Bushes wars, an insurance company giveaway...... Who should be voted in?
I started with a supersoil mimicking mix and didn't go full no till for about 6 months, in retrospect, that was 6 wasted months.
Beginning with a nutrient rich mix is a great way to go but there is no reason not to implement full on no till practices right from the get go. Lasagna tech and all...
Dinner time!
Did some collecting around the yard and garden.
Yarrow
White clover
Kale need some cleaning up so why not?
Dandelion.
These will get chopped up, blended with some crawfish shells and top dressed.
I really don't think it's that bad. Yeah, there will be quite a few in the affected buds but nothing like a fully seeded plant. Here is my witch for comparison, fully pollinated and making F2's from the male I kept. Note how much chunkier your flowers are. This one is very close to done.
The Gorilla Cookies cut is a bit ahead of the Dark Helmets, and is starting to show the developing canopy. As the tops reach the height of the meristem they will begin to receive the same treatment.
