I think the point FRAN was trying to make about Heliospectra, is that LED lights actually are making their way into horticulture. Companies are willing to invest in the tech on a large scale, even though most of us have better grow lights in our basements for a lot less. Shouldn't be much longer...

@Sativied Nice anecdote! Your thoughtless rant is just what i needed to brighten my day! Suspended rationality! All those words without any real meaning or substance! Awesome! Not only did you not refute a single point that I made, you failed to acknowledge (or just ignored) the flaws that I...

It sounds like you are the one who is salty. Name calling and demeaning people over different light sources..... And the really sad part, is that you have proven every LED proponents side of the arguement with every link you provided, and still missed the point of the whole article. The...

I have access to a PAR meter and IR temp meter. I have compared relative ppf and leaf temps, and the difference is negligible between 3500K COB and HPS (leaf temps). 2-3 deg. F Don't blame a light for not being able to manage canopy temps. Most growers battle the heat of HPS lights. Can you...

So in your theoretical situation, why can't the ambient temp of the LED grow room be adjusted to match leaf tempuratures of the plants under HPS? As well as humidity? Is climate control not allowed in your comparison?

    IGROW and Inductive Lighting

From iGROW website... "iGROW and Nikola Tesla are synonymous. iGROW is one of Tesla’s greatest gifts to mankind. We think Tesla would be very happy to know that his light technology has been developed to be the finest agricultural light, once again beating out Edison. We are very proud that...

You clearly don't know shit about plants. And you clearly don't know how read a Spectral Distribution Graph either. If you took the time to learn more about light "in general" and how plants use it, this would not even be a discussion. You sir, are CLUELESS. Pick up a book with real plant...

That's cool. So did I. Different results in my case. LED was better. Difference wasn't huge, but it was noticeable. Thanks for telling me how MY results went from MY grow. You should study up on light physics and plant biology/physiology. And stop reading Jorge Cervantes Grow Bible.
