    Arctic 11 plus without fan

Should be the same price. I'm pretty sure they have a flat rate shipping price. You take a hit for smaller purchases, but should be about the same price as competitors for larger orders. Maybe order a couple extra fans or heat sinks to make it worth your while. Or just wait if you aren't in a...

Just an update.. My fans shipped out today from Arctic, so they are now back in stock.

    Arctic 11 plus without fan

From my understanding, fluid dynamic bearings in these PC fans are rated for 50,000+ hours of continuous operation. Usually much more.

    Arctic 11 plus without fan

Arctic is on back-order for the Alpine 11 Plus, but they are receiving their shipment Thursday of this coming week. I was notified this by email because I had placed my order about 2 weeks ago.

Here's the link for the Alpine 11 plus. Just click the link "SPARE PARTS" for the replacement fans. http://www.arctic.ac/us_en/alpine-11-plus.html

    Arctic 11 plus without fan

I have a couple of fans out on my Arctic Alpine 11 plus' and they get real darn warm without a fan at 1400ma. Run at 700ma, the heat sinks get mildly warm but not too bad. Arctic also sells replacement fans for like $2.95 if you buy direct from them. I have some replacement fans on order. The AA...

    Think ive been led astray

Looks like SK updated their website and added all the specs anyone could really ever ask for. Including chips. Couldn't find the BINs though, damn it. This was a luminaire test done by Cree. https://www.spectrumkingled.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/CREE_TEMPO-Report_2015-08-18.pdf If not...

If you have nothing constructive, informative or enlightening to say, then why do continue to post verbal garbage? Good luck on your closet growing.

    Think ive been led astray

Very much so. That is why, for the same price (roughly), 2x SK would have a better output than the AT600 using about 25% more energy and blow a DE out of the water for 20% less energy, way less heat and a far superior spectrum to both.

    Think ive been led astray

Why don't you order an alibaba high bay and see if has the same output? Make a liar out Spectrum King if you are so certain. After all you are starting up your own light company. Invest in some mud slinging research. Osram = over 2x the cost to match wattage and beat foot print (maybe)...

Gnarly. But if it works it works. Do you ever get any bleaching or heat stress?

Just thought I'd compare with 95% of what is being used at peoples personal home-grows. Vertical hanging reflectors are far superior in terms of reflective losses compared to a traditional horizontal light. Not sure about the foot print at higher than 24". Are most of these HID guys growing...

    Think ive been led astray

Thanks! I'll credit education for that... But I'm not. I'm an hourly paid sales associate at a grow store who basically answers "what's wrong with my plants" & "how do I cure PM" questions most of the day. The company does also have a 120 degree reflector that has a much shorter overall height...

    Think ive been led astray

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Which commercial grow light that is UL and ETL listed that can actually be used in a commercial setting, lists the exact BIN chip that they use? Don't get me wrong, PLC is gonna be an awesome product once all safety cert's go through and its commercially...

Most of the sugars added to nutrients are to actually feed microbes in the soil. Tiny bacteria are prolific at the rhisospere (root zone) along with mykorhizza (fungus). Now what most people don't realize is that these microbes are actually how 90% of nutrients are uptaken by a plant in soil...

    Think ive been led astray

You are sounding like a crazed conspiracy theorist. I've flipped through their owners manual and they seem pretty forthcoming ie there wasn't any dishonest information. Those are some profound "facts" being dropped around here. I'm pretty sure that I have already logged the performance and...

    Think ive been led astray

Nice. I haven't seen this light yet. Seems pretty legit in terms of build quality. Is there thread on that grow by chance? Unfortunately the price of the largest unit is $950 for a 150w fixture. If the yield GPW is similar between the Zelion and the SK, the Osram would cost more that 2x the cost...
