B.C. to ban the sale of pot in liquor stores, allow landlords to ban home-grown grass

I'm no lawyer, but they were "charter" challenges not "constitutional". No different than a land lord not allowing smoking, it's his right. He is the master of his domain. A human rights case would need to be filed, nothing to do with charter. As a land lord if I don't like a person for what...

    Quick Questions about Trimming.

I'm afraid that those days are nearly over. My trimmers will get paid by the kilo, work hard and be rewarded. Trimmers are a dime a dozen, with a little learning curve anybody can be proficient in no time. Harvesting is an entry level position, no special skills or training needed, My best...

Lets See LP's Crash And Burn.

Will you have a change of tune after this summer when there are hundreds of "LP"s? Or will anybody selling legal cannabis still be the enemy? Would you ever "sell out" and try and profit off rec weed? Cause I'm all over that shit, I'm going to be spending my golden years following my passion...

B.C. to ban the sale of pot in liquor stores, allow landlords to ban home-grown grass

Firstly, we live in Canada and have our "Charter of Rights and Freedoms", US has a constitution. Second, the "Charter" only pertains to the government, Canadian citizens are not held to account. A land lord can set his own rules, no smoking, no pets, no prostitution etc. As with businesses, no...

    Quick Questions about Trimming.

cant beat hand trim, but machines like these will soon be standard equipment in most large gardens. Don't really see a business unless you can offer a dozen topless Asian lady's with fiskers. I'm not a fan of robot trimmers but if I had to choose one it would be Mobious...

    Breaking the bank this year....

If you consider paying taxes, contributing to society, and playing your part to keep Canada growing, nothing. It's your money, not a hand out, you have earned it. Itsme.

Craft Growing opportunities....what are they really?

Those monstrocity corporate facilities don't even care about Canada's limited market, they are looking globally. The niche to be filled will be small batch limited run coniseur grade flowers. The big guys product will mostly be used in extracts and edibles, leaving a hole for Craft. A good...

'Bring it on': pop-up cannabis vendors defy Vancouver police crackdown

I guess the year I spent volunteering as a DG, and the hundreds if not thousands of cookies I made and donated don't count, or the dozen or so patients I've helped become self sufficient in the last year. I sure fooled them, eh? Itsme.

Would be nice if we could force a refferendum on legalization.

The piece I'm looking at already has 2 homes, with zoning for 1 more and another for workers accommodations. Previously an organic farm to table operation, with on site sales zoning. Piece of heaven, just got to convince the wife to move out to the boonies, and become farmers. Itsme.

'Bring it on': pop-up cannabis vendors defy Vancouver police crackdown

Hey, I'm cool if you want to buy your medicine from a homeless guy on the street corner for $10/gram.....these dealers are praying on tourists, under the guise of helping "patients" they may fool some people, but for those with a brain it's obvious what's happening. Itsme.

'Bring it on': pop-up cannabis vendors defy Vancouver police crackdown

I see these guys all the time, they give cannabis users a bad name. They are simply low level pot pusher, they do more harm than good IMO. I hate to see anybody being persecuted for cannabis, but these fellows aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Itsme.

Would be nice if we could force a refferendum on legalization.

Should be no different than booze being served at bars, resorts or wine tasting rooms. A simple disclaimer at check in should be sufficient, liability insurance would be a must regarding any type of business that there could be a risk of injury, regardless of intoxicants being consumed. Itsme.

Would be nice if we could force a refferendum on legalization.

No doubt, I'm currently looking at 80acres farm with 6 rentable cabins on the river. Was a former farm to table all inclusive BnB, Plan is to create a self sufficient farm cartering to cannabis/outdoor enthusiast. The framework is in place just need to implement the cannabis aspect. Maybe...

Would be nice if we could force a refferendum on legalization.

I enquired on small farm start-up loans and small farm grants in BC. They were more than willing to talk with me, and offered help once cannabis was removed from the CDSA. They had no problem with "Plant Husbandry" qualifying for assistance. A business plan, some market research and viability on...

LP SHWAG POISON MAJOR CAUSE FOR CONCERN !!

Not my commercial grows, gardens done properly no spraying is needed. Only the lazy inexperienced rely on spraying. A perfectly controlled environment, strict IPM and bio security will eliminate the need to spray. Itsme.
