    Bomb Seeds - Experiences?

That's one way to put it, I guess. I'm telling you that other than normal heritable differences from differing parentage, so far as I know, there is no discernable genetic difference between so called "feminized" se-eds created by sexual union of two genetically female parents, and ordinary...

Sickmeds Chemical Wonder: Grow Report and Review

Here's two more shots of the cured Chemical Wonder buds, under natural light. IMO, this one has good trichome coverage and definite "bag appeal":

    Bomb Seeds - Experiences?

Well, the term "reversing" is itself a bit misleading. Doing it to a plant doesn't actually reverse the plants genetic gender; it just activates an otherwise dormant mechanism present in every female plant to create male flowers. Since simply feminizing plants does NOT alter their genome (ie...

    Bomb Seeds - Experiences?

This is not only false, its risible. Can you explain how applying colloidal silver permanently changes a plants DNA? Which genes are altered? You have this exactly upside down. Its like saying the only beer worth talking about is the stuff you can buy at the supermarket. If the issue is...

Thinking about growing "DinaChem": anyone try this? Opinions welcome.

Can anyone who's grown this comment on the flowering time? Dinafem says its from 56-90 days. Needless to say, that's quite a range and not that helpful.

    Bomb Seeds - Experiences?

They're not, but stipulating for the sake of argument that every single "elite clone" on the planet is hermie-prone, that still doesn't affect the "gene pool". It only affects what you might term the "commercial gene pool", and even there, only part of it. Again, it comes down to breeder...

    Bomb Seeds - Experiences?

No flame, and I also prefer regulars, but I simply do not believe the second part of this is is correct. In nature every cannabis plant has hermaphroditic potential, as does just about every other dioecious plant. Wild hemp plants are typically hermaphroditic, and its certainly the case that...

Ghost Strain Orgins and Facts ---Ogre---WTF???

I've heard of this strain years ago, but never actually seen it. With a name like "ogre" its probably a pretty safe bet that there are multiple different things that have been called it over the years.

Sickmeds Chemical Wonder: Grow Report and Review

You're too kind. I just hope people find this helpful This line is pretty obscure; right now its an unreleased tester by a small breeder, so I'm not sure how many people are even going to see this report. Couldn't agree more. With the benefit of hindsight, maybe I shouldn't have grown this...

    Wiliam's Wonder and Spoetnik #1 250W

One defining characteristic of pure indica plants is that they typically only double in height throughout flowering. The Williams Wonder is a pure indica, and like the others, I think you'll find that it barely doubles in overall height during flowering.

    Wiliam's Wonder and Spoetnik #1 250W

Williams Wonder goes back to the 1970s, and therefore I don't think its even historically possible that its a cross between NL (which originated later) and Skunk #1. Its certainly unlike the other Skunk/NL crosses that are out there both in terms of both scent/flavor and plant structure...

Sickmeds Chemical Wonder: Grow Report and Review

Thank you. My goal is minimal count, maximum quality! I think I should clarify the numbers here, because I don't think we're using the same terminology. Final plant length was about 2.5x (really probably closer to 2.3x) the length at the beginning of flowering. In other words when I...

Sickmeds Chemical Wonder: Grow Report and Review

Well, obviously the grow was complete before I started the report. This has been done for a while; I just though it would be confusing to post a report on a strain that isn't commercially available, so I held off. But since Reddog (Sickmeds breeder) told me there were several other reports...

    Bag seeds

See here for my last bagseed grow report: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/584136-mexican-brick-bagseed-growing-out.html#post8268883 The quick answer to the question is that it depends entirely on what bag you find the se-ed in! Bagseeds either come from outdoor grown stuff (like...

Sickmeds William's Wonder: grow journal. review and all things Wiliams Wonder

Great, I'd love to see those. On this topic, please check out my Chemical Wonder grow, if you haven't already. Its a pretty short report, and should take more than at most 3-4 minutes to read the whole thing (plus it has its own soundtrack now!). That plant also threw out full true male...

    strongest smell after cure?

I think he's referring to yield per square meter, which is a common way of trying to "normalize" yield between strains. The issue here is that its really very hard to standardize this sort of thing, and you especially need to take number claims of this nature from any breeder with a gigantic...

Advice needed for my next grow!

If you're starting a new system, my suggestion is to reduce your variables as much as possible. For only six buckets, I'd actually suggest ONE strain (not two, let alone three), for a new hydroponics system, but if the choice is between 2 and 3, choose two.

I need advice or a set of balls! Either one here's why

Home self pollenization to create feminized se-eds is certainly doable, and I've done it, but selfing plants comes with its own set of issues, as does seedmaking in general, and I'd say this is NOT something a first time indoor grower is going to want to take on. First grow a few plants...

    strongest smell after cure?

Obviously, how something is grown, cured, then stored affects final odor. For sure there are more stinky strains/buds out there, but in my experience, this one is high odor. Top quality is somewhat subjective, because different people are after different things. The original poster is...

    strongest smell after cure?

Not sure that many of these OG-type crosses are going to meet your criteria of high yield, but they should smell great, and I haven't ever hear anyone say anything bad about the Kosher Kush.
