    Phosphorous deficiency

And here are some pics of all the girls, for reference. 4ft tent, 600w hps (the orange glow) in the middle and 100w quantum in each corner. Why not 1000w hps you ask...? Heat. Heat. And heat.

    Phosphorous deficiency

Pics at last. They were taken about a week ago. Things have only gotten worse for this girl in that most of the fan leaves are toast and now the largest of the bud leaves are beginning to be affected. It won't be long until the sugar leaves are affected.

    Phosphorous deficiency

I'll post a pic later. Shes looking bad enough that I may put her in a separate tent so the others can be less crowded.

    Phosphorous deficiency

Here's some info from their website. I used the super soil technique last time and this time. Like I said, no problems last time around and only 1 plant effected this time around.

    Phosphorous deficiency

I always end up with fungus gnats when I use peat based soils. That gets old, grow after grow. I haven't used peat in years, and haven't had gnats either. No pics atm, maybe later. Pot size is 7 gal.

    Coco in place of peat?

I've grown organic with coco 1.5 times now. First run, no problems, super happy, healthy plants. Great first attempt at 100% organic! I'm half way through flower on round two with the same type of mix. 4 of 5 plants are looking absolutely amazing. Just 1 is in dire need of P and losing leaves...

    Phosphorous deficiency

Hey folks. Please excuse my ignorance, I am not new to growing, but I am new to organics. Last round I tried out Nature's Living Soil (NLS) and had a nice harvest. This round is going even better than the first, but one plant has a pretty bad phosphorous deficiency that I cant seem to get...

    Whorled phyllotaxy: stash or trash?

Don't those mutations occur as a direct result of stress in the environment? Yes. As an indoor grower/breeder, dont you have total control over your plants' environment? Yes. So, the grower is responsible for the mutation, whatever the exact cause may be, dirty tools (I'm not buying that one...

    Whorled phyllotaxy: stash or trash?

For the record, nor is a recessive gene the same as a genetic mutation. A mutation is a permanent change in the DNA, whereas a recessive gene is just a non-dominant gene; one that requires two copies to display whatever that gene controls, such as blue eyes in humans.

Making the switch, HPS to LED

I opted for the Mars TS1000 and I'm happy with that decision. The heat issue is completely resolved and the girls seem to really like the light. I am currently building a 5x5 room to replace my 4x4 tent to give me more room for fans and, well, more room for my ladies to spread out a little. I...

    Male from feminized seed..but how?

The strain is Barney's Farm feminized Blue Gelato. Grew just one fem seed and about 1.5 weeks after flipping to 12/12 I see I have a 100% male plant. Too bad because he sure was a beautiful girl! Anyways I'm writing this because I hope to find someone knowledgable enough to explain...

    Unusual leaf markings

Thank you everyone for all your responses! I really appreciate it! I'll update when I get the clone into flower.

    Unusual leaf markings

I've decided to cull her just in case. I mentioned above (I think) that I took two cuttings of her. I just have to know how she would have turned out, so I'll flower one of them after my small tent is finished with it's current experiment. :weed:

    Unusual leaf markings

Shes still sitting out, uncut, (I have trouble letting go of her) but now she has missed an entire dark period. I do have two clones of her already and plan on flowering one in a separate tent, by itself. I could also throw her back in and hope that she doesn't hermie. Man I just dont know...

    Unusual leaf markings

Anyone else care to chime in before I chop her down? This is painful.

    Unusual leaf markings

100% sure? It's painful to think of tossing this plant. I removed her from the tent and she is just sitting out now awaiting her fate. I have about 8 hrs until dark period to make this decision. Why havent they spread to the other plants that have been touching her for nearly two months?

    Unusual leaf markings

I'm still not convinced that this is from an infestation as it hasn't spread to my other plants. Believe you me, I've been thoroughly checking every day. I apologize now for a long winded post. TLDR at bottom. I have a hard time believing these are mites. First, there are no foreign...
