its putting out 2100 umols, but your plant only gets 1700 after reflector losses, then theres the loss from having to be far away... so over all that number drops fast.

Its not shit talking, its messing around. Its a good light with a good marketing team. But to say its the best or that it puts out 2100 umols to the plant just isnt true.

I know, but its still on their website so they claim those results all day... But hey Im sure they're an honest company otherwise. Just not the kind I will be doing business with.

It's easy to avoid, if you keep your room temp at say 75F then keep the water around 70F or so and you're golden. Just a different way to look at it. Less worry about it heating up your room and more lukewarm water.

Unless my meter is shot, there wasn't much past 4-5ft that was worth having in flower even aiming the meter at the light source. Less than 100ppf after that. To me the argument of it needing a better reflector is valid, but that just takes the PPF and distributes it better, should be about the...

Possibly, Ill get a better meter to check these measurements again in time, however even at 1ft I didnt get over 800. I watched a comparison between the Par meters and there wasnt a big difference. Not sure why the light source would make a huge difference.

I have two sides that have panda film and and at 2ft I got 430.5PPFD. Its really not. I took them myself, Fact is they are awesome as long as they have overlap, without it they are meh.

My 5x5 measurement at 3ft got 258 PPFD... not really that good for flower. Thats the recommended height. its a bit higher at 2.5-2ft but the light doesnt go past the 4x4 area by much.

Yes but since it's more spread out you get a higher PPFD which is the only important number.

Hey I only measure 745ppfd with a de1000w at 2 ft. It's not that great. I think they forget the light falloff when they run those tests.
