Update. Unplugged one driver, so I'm only testing one driver. Pulling half of what I was pulling. 44w. These are wired in parallel. 3 CXM22 to each HLG-185-48 driver. This isn't making any sense at all

From the left, it's dim, then I turn it and it gets brighter the more you turn it. However, about 1/4 throw it just suddenly stops getting brighter. Confirmed the 50k resistance of the pot Disconnected the pot, left the leads open, and I'm still getting 90w from the wall. What the hell...

There's a white and blue wire on each. I combined the white wires together, then the blue wires together, and then hooked them up to the pot, one middle, one outside if that makes sense

My COB build is only pulling 90w from the wall at .78a and 120v according to my killowat meter. What did I do wrong? Even unplugged the potentiometer. All the lights light up, just not as bright as they should?

Good news, she lights up! Just have to install the pot, put some electrical tape around my connections, and I'll be ready to hang her up! Bought a 40w Weller Solder Iron from Home Depot, and soldered the leads from the drivers and extension cord, to their own individual solid copper cables...

What solder iron do you guys recommend for soldering 16GA solid copper wire?
