What about galvanic corrosion between the copper and aluminum in the Wago connector? Or am I being overly paranoid?

I have 2 drivers. I'm combining the leads to use a single extension cord. So for the 1st connection: Live from driver 1, Live from driver 2, Live from extension cord. I'll do the same with the ground and neutral with their own connector if that makes sense.

They'll all be used. 2 driver leads and a extension cord lead. I just wasn't sure if the Wago connectors are rated for aluminum wire connecting to copper wire

So it's okay to use a 3 pole wago to connect the aluminum stranded leads of the 2 meanwell driver to a copper stranded extension cord?

These ideal connectors work AWESOME for my copper wiring. However, the aluminum stranded that come off the meanwell drivers, don't want to push in. Will the Wago connectors work better for this? They're hard to find locally but I can order. My solder gun won't get hot enough to solder this...

Same heat output. 700w is 700w. COBs will displace that heat output better, mainly because of how spread out they're.

Meant to specify what are the threads on the side of the heatsink?

What threads do the heatsinks use? I think I need to find some longer ones

I'm about to wire an extension cord to my meanwell drivers. How do I keep tension off of the connectors? I don't want anything to pull apart from the weight of the wire over time

I must say, these DIY COBs are much more involved than I initially planned. Frame is finally done, and I'm about halfway done with wiring. Pictures to come when done hopefully by next weekend. Also trying to keep this somewhat tidy, so my OCD is making this take much longer than it should. 6...

Luminus CXM-32 Gen3 the next big thing??

That's why it's weird to you. I have a 4x2 grow area. 3 and 6 fit the rectangular room nicely. I didn't want to buy more heatsinks yet. Hope someone can help you, I'm sure plenty of people have solutions if you do some digging in the cobkits forum

Luminus CXM-32 Gen3 the next big thing??

Look in the cobkits thread. I'm using 2 HLG-185-48 to power 6 CXM22s in parallel if that helps.

I just wanted to make sure the lens weren't super sensitive or anything. Thanks!

Is it safe to clean the lens of a COB with water? The lens seems slightly "sticky" and a couple hairs are stuck. Don't want to damage anything.

So I have 3 leads on my potentiometer. I'm going to combine the positive DIM leads on my meanwell drivers, and the negative leads together, but what leads do I attach this Positive and Negative to? Does it matter which one I use?

I did this from memory at work. I'll look at the pot when I get home. Oooo am I supposed to take an additional combined positive voltage from each driver, and attach it to the other potentiometer lead? I have combined + and - from the DIM leads into the potentiometer, but it needs a + voltage...

Awesome! Do you know of any free online circuit creators you're aware of? When I finish this up I want to create a more formal diagram to show noobs.

This look better? I'll get some 4 port Ideal Push Connectors from Home Depot to hook up the COBs. Can I also use a 4 port connector with only 2 wires?

Drivers 2x Mean Well HLG-185H-48B LEDs 6x CXM22 3000K Potentiometer 50k ohms Does my wiring diagram here look okay? I have a Y Splitter power adapter going into an outlet at the bottom. Also, the potentiometer I don't believe has polarity, I would just be breaking the circuit there for it...

Maybe I'll just end up soldering. I've done a couple things, I just prefer not to if I don't have to. Not a great solder iron I have. WAGO connectors look awesome. Why don't they sell them at Home Depot?
