The natural spectrum of sunlight cuts off right before UVC. It's filtered out by the atmosphere. Even if it were beneficial to the plants I wouldn't work around it without having full body coverage.

UVB also causes some DNA damage and UVA has been shown to be at least similarly effective in increasing essential oil production so, in my opinion, it isn't worth the trade off.

280nm/285nm is right at the threshold of UVB and UVC. That's lower than you want to go. That's right about where it starts causing chromosomal damage.

There's at least one published research article from an accredited college documenting the difference from UV. Solarcure also has results from independently verified tests on their website. Proper UV supplementation increases THC by about 25% of the total of the control. So a 20% thc result...

This isn't too uncommon. There's plenty of people that have limited space and would rather use it all for flowering and get their RTF plants elsewhere. And there's always that asshole waiting in the wings to fuck it all up.

So I'm curious. Did they reveg at all? How much direct sun exposure are they getting? It looks like they're going to finish early but the being revegged and being shaded during part of the day can do that and it looks like those things may be going on here.
